Beauty by Jhori

Jhori Jurgenson is a certified makeup artist with over six years in the makeup industry. Immediately following her first month of makeup certification at the Austin School of Spa Technology in 2016, she was hired to work on the Lifetime movie ‘Derailed.’ Following her break into the film circuit, she has worked on several productions and commercial shoots, including ‘The Pretenders’ directed by James Franco, and continues to work on film productions that are filmed in the Hudson Valley.

While she has an affinity for film makeup, she specializes in bridal makeup, and prides herself in her ability to enhance her clients natural features, rather than mask them. Her bridal work has been featured in the New York Times, who covered the wedding she did for a producer and actress. She is certified in airbrushing, and often uses Temptu Airbrush products (who have featured her work on their own site). She has been prided on her ability to create flawless, natural looks as well as more glamorous looks as well. Jhori loves the flexibility of her job and the fun that comes with it.
