Alluring Complexions Artistry is a full service makeup and hair team based in Houston, TX and was founded by me, Estefania Escobar, in 2014. A California native, I moved to Texas in 2008, and created ACA shortly after helping my friend for her wedding in 2013, and falling in love with the bridal beauty industry! Apart from services bridal parties, my team and I love to cater to any gal wanting to look & feel her absolute best for any and all occasions!

Alluring Complexions Artistry provides on-location professional airbrush makeup and hair services for weddings, special events, photo shoots + more! Whatever the occasion, count on us to make our clients feel their absolute best on their special day. We pride ourselves in providing soft, romantic makeup and hair styles that not only last all day, look great in person, but even more important - photograph beautifully. We strive to enhance our client's features, never to mask or drastically alter their appearance, all while providing personalized, friendly service - that's what sets us apart! Look achieved can range from minimal to full glam using liquid and/or cream based makeup formulas, which are applied with brushes and/or makeup sponge. Any kind of hairstyle can be chosen. Yes! We schedule trials at our beautiful studio in Katy, or we can travel to you for your convenience (travel fee may apply). ou are welcome to bring 1 friend or 1 family member to your trial.
Due to the high amount of bookings, we typically recommend scheduling your trial as soon as possible. This will ensure you can schedule your trial at a time that is convenient for you. You can choose to schedule a trial run before officially booking us for your wedding, or book first, then schedule your trial at a later date. We schedule our trials mid-week as we are booked with weddings over the weekends. The cost of your trial depends on which makeup application method you’d like to try and if you are scheduling for multiple services (makeup & hair, makeup only, hair only). Please note trial runs are a separate fee.
Yes, we travel to your getting-ready location. If your location is further than 15 miles outside of Katy, TX, travel rates will apply. If there are multiple locations requested, fees will also apply. Please be as detailed as possible regarding location when contacting us.
Yes, a retainer of 50% of the total amount of services being requested and completed bridal services contract are required to secure your date. Please keep in mind that we receive several inquires every day, and we reserve dates based on a first come first serve basis. Your date is not secure until your retainer & contract has been confirmed.
No, we do not require a minimum amount of services to book. We always make an effort to cater to clients, whether it be just the bride herself needing hair & makeup, or a bridal party of 15+ !
Absolutely! No matter the size of your party, we can accommodate as many services as needed.
Our makeup has a reputation of lasting all day, with only a lip color/gloss touch up as well as a quick blotting for shine/oil. We are experienced with many makeup lines and use a variety of products from MAC, Make Up For Ever, Urban Decay, Dior, It Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, and Laura Mercier as well as a few industry products that are used in TV/Film.
We have recently made the decision to focus solely on our traditional makeup artistry. Through extensive training and practice, our artists have honed their skills to provide an impeccable and long-lasting finish with traditional makeup products alone. We find that traditional makeup techniques allow for greater versatility to suit all skin types and concerns.
Yes, we are very experienced in working with hair extensions. We do sell Halo Couture hair extensions for your convenience, and installation is complimentary if purchased from us. Please note an installation fee of $35 does apply for extensions purchased elsewhere, should you need them to be placed prior to styling (clip-in styles only).

    Stef and her team were awesome!! On time and prepared, they listened to what everyone wanted and came through beautifully. Stef was great at communicating with me about the timeline. She took the time to discuss how the trial makeup session went, and really delivered on the adjustments we had to make. I loved her calm and kind demeanor on the day of, brought good vibes to our group and helped soothe my nerves. Highly recommend!

    So talented!

    Alluring complexions is always punctual, heartwarming, and does a perfect job on hair and makeup! They respond in a timely manner and are very reliable which can be hard to find these days. I love referring all of my photography clients to them because I know I can trust them to take care of my clients and I do not have to worry one bit! Choose them and you are in good hands! Getting your hair and makeup done is the best investment on your special day!
