Hi, I’m Ella, the flower farmer and floral designer behind Burdock Acres! Based in Hardwick, Vermont, I grow and design flowers for weddings, elopements, and celebrations throughout Vermont and beyond. What started with a love of growing flowers has blossomed into a business where I get to combine two of my favorite things: working with flowers and helping people celebrate life’s special moments. Whether you’re planning an intimate mountainside elopement or a larger wedding surrounded by family and friends, I love bringing your vision to life with flowers that feel natural, romantic, and uniquely you.

At Burdock Acres, we’re more than a floral studio. We’re a working Vermont flower farm! Whenever possible, I incorporate flowers grown right here on our farm, along with beautiful blooms sourced from other local growers. I believe wedding flowers should reflect the couple, not a cookie-cutter design. From simple bouquets and DIY flower buckets to full-service floral design, I offer flexible options for different styles and budgets. My designs embrace the natural beauty of the seasons, and I love creating arrangements that feel like they belong in the setting you’ve chosen for your special day.
