Owners

Bates Floral Co started when we (Laurel and Charles Bates) decided to do our wedding flowers themselves! We didn't like the options or prices companies were charging, so we undertook the project of cultivating, buying, and creating our floral arrangements ourselves. Our friends loved our work so much that we started doing there weddings the following year. Our company was born from our passion for flowers and the love of honoring those who commit to a covenant relationship before the Lord.

All of our arrangements, colors, and styles are custom. No two weddings are the same because you will never have the same taste as another couple. We tailor all of our work to you, we don't expect you to tailor your vision to us.

    Bates Floral Company was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding! Their communication was fast and very detailed, which made the whole process smooth and easy.     Awesome and amazing!

    They were reasonably priced and did an amazing job with all of our floral arrangements! Would definitely recommend! They helped us decided what flowers told us go with and what flowers looked great with others. They were always communicating with us about what was going on and sending us ideas and were on time to set everything up at the wedding. Couldn’t have found a better company!

We offer delivery, setup, and breakdown services within a 30-50 mile radius of Bentonville, AR. We have a $2,500 minimum for floral delivery.
Typically, our couples reach out around 6 - 18 months before their big day. Once we have determined what types of arrangements you'll need, and you have secured your date with us, we take over on all floral orders! We typically put our orders in to local wholesale farms 2 months before your wedding date.
We do offer a mockup of our floral arrangements, but since all our flowers are ordered specifically for each wedding, there are a couple of caveats to this type of request. All flowers arrive 3-4 days prior to your wedding date, this means, we will only be able to offer a mockup on the day or two before your wedding. If this does not work for you, we are happy to provide photos to you via text as we begin to create your floral arrangements so you can make any last minute adjustments you'd like!
We do offer two forms of floral preservation after your wedding. We can either set some of your wedding flowers in epoxy to make a glass-like creation with your flowers set inside, or we can dry some of your flowers and press them into a glass picture frame. Both of these options are great for preserving flowers, that said, there are always risks the flowers will fade or discolor due to moisture, uv damage, or physical damage to the arrangement. Bates Floral Co does not promise life-long preservation due to the variety of circumstances that could damage these pieces.
Please expect to spend 30-60 minutes discussing your wedding day! We want you to dream big and give us all the minute details so we can get your flowers just right. You do not need to bring anything, however, please have an idea of how many of each type of arrangements you'd like. If you're unsure of this, we are more than happy to make suggestions or work alongside your aesthetic/style to custom-build a package just for you.
