LAV Sushi started the way a lot of good things do: a bride who needed to pay for her own wedding. Four years and 10,000+ guests later, it's a full team of chefs serving Houston, Austin, and Dallas. We offer sushi stations, roaming hand rolls, poke bars, seated omakase, and hands-on sushi classes, for weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, and welcome parties. Founder Lavinia is the daughter of immigrants, raised on the idea that hospitality means feeding people well and no one feels overlooked. She spent her career in strategy and operations, and runs this company the same way: tight timelines, clear communication, nothing improvised.

Michelin-level fish flown in from around the world, sliced and plated in front of your guests, never pre-assembled hours ahead. Every format we offer is as much experience as it is food: chefs working live, hand rolls passed the moment they're made, stations styled to anchor the room and photograph as well as they taste. Beyond that, every event is planned through the eyes of someone who pulled off her own wedding: timeline, flow, how service fits around photos and toasts. You're not managing us on your day.
