Don Carne

I’m Chef Troy, owner of Don Carne in Atlanta. I started cooking for the public in 2021 and I’ve never stopped. My food is bold and creative, shaped by my travels and my Guyanese roots. I cook private events for up to 80 guests, run pop-ups, and prep weekly meals for Atlanta families. Everything is made from scratch, from my marinades and dry rubs to my house salsas. When I cook for your wedding, you get me, not a crew I never met.

Everything is from scratch, and the menu is built around you, not a template. I cook on site, so your guests eat hot food made right there. Our weddings can feature Southern favorites like gumbo cups, shrimp and grits, a carving station and a cheese fountain, or a taco party if that’s your vibe. We’re permitted and insured, and the server is included. Stressed, blessed and taco obsessed.
