The Original Rainbow Cone has been a staple in Chicago for over 95 years! We serve our signature combination of Chocolate, Strawberry, Palmer House, Pistachio and Orange Sherbet sliced and stacked on a cone. We also offer other flavors upon request. We offer on-site catering with our trucks for outdoor events, and our pop up ice cream social service for indoor events!

We go above and beyond to ensure each guest at each event leaves with a cone in their hand and a smile on their face. Our leadership team is comprised of individuals with a combined 50 years of wedding, corporate and social catering experience. We have the knowledge and tools to make sure each event is flawless.

    Fun and Delicious!

    Staci at Rainbow Cone catering was a pleasure to work with while coordinating for our wedding. She answered emails promptly and helped with questions we had along the way. William was such an amazing presence on our wedding day! He drove the truck in while smiling and dancing, which we loved. His energy was great, and his service was incredible! Having the Rainbow Cone truck at our wedding was so fun, and everyone was raving about how delicious it was!

    Highly Recommend It!

    Really great alternative to cake at a wedding. All the guest loved it and it was something different. From the start they were easy to work with and went out of their way to accommodate us. This included visiting the venue before the day to come up with a plan, showing up earlier then needed to set up, and staying a little later then scheduled.

    Amazing ice cream vendor!

    The Original Rainbow cone is iconic and delicious! I've worked with them a few times for various events and they have never disappointed. Pre-event, their communication is fantastic and the service during the event is perfect. I recommend!

    An absolute MUST for a wedding!

    John and the rest of the Rainbow Cone team went above and beyond for our special day! From day one - they were quick at responding to emails, reliable, friendly and professional!
