Something Frosted is a cottage bakery located in Salt Lake City Utah specializing in buttercream cakes and desserts. The Owner: Dani is a mom, pastry chef grad and Utah local with 15 years in the industry and a passion for creating desserts as beautiful as they are delicious.

    I’ve been working with Dani since my gender reveal in 2024 and she has made cupcakes for all my events ever since— most recently my baby’s 1st birthday party! Everything she makes is absolutely delicious. I love her energy and my guests always fall in love with her flavors! Lemon Blueberry is always the STAR when it comes to picking flavors. Her communication is clear and easy and her prices are absolutely worth it. She’s my go-to for cupcakes 🧁✨️ You NEED to order from her! 💛🤍💚🌈🍀

    Dani delivered as promised! She was attentive to my questions, accommodating when I made a change, and right on schedule. Dani's cupcakes were gorgeous and delicious. The colors were spot on! They were the icing on the cake at my son's wedding luncheon, both literally and figuratively. I highly recommend, hands down. Thank you so much Dani.

We have a $150 order minimum as we make everything custom for each client. Our 2-tier cakes start at $250, and our 3-tiered cakes start at $540.
Yes. We deliver anywhere you may need us. The SLC valley area $25 Park city, Layton, Orem $50 Other cities, canyons, backroads$75 Out of state $50 hourly
Simply put, no. Though we are happy to add fondant or gum paste details to your cake , we are buttercream artists, and we do not cover our cakes entirely in fondant. We ROCK round cakes, and do not typically make tiered square cakes but are happy to incorporate squares or rectangles into single tiered cakes and cakes with square elements.
We offer pickup cupcakes tasting boxes once a month. Each box includes that season's most popular flavors for $20.
