August June Desserts is a custom cake studio specializing in made from scratch custom cakes for all occasions. August June Desserts was established in 2010 by incorporating the love of baking with newly found cake decorating skills. I already knew how to bake cakes, but wanted to learn how to decorate them so that I could create cakes that were not only delicious, but beautiful. After taking cake decorating classes at a local craft store I fell in love with the decorating aspect of the craft. Once family and friends tasted the cakes, the idea of turning the hobby into a business was launched.

We believe that “There is nothing better than a freshly baked dessert!” Our made from scratch cakes incorporate the use of colors and textures from everyday items to create delicious works of art in cake form. Quality cakes add so much more to special moments and milestones. Our work has been featured in Charlotte Magazine, Huami Charlotte Magazine, and on several WCCB and WBTV news segments. Beautiful cake designs have been featured in published styled shoots on Love Inc. Mag, Equally Wed, and Dancing with Her. August June Desserts was selected as one of the Top 10 Wedding Cake Bakers in Charlotte by Wedding Rule in 2021.

Our products are made in a facility that comes into contact with nuts/nut products.
We do not replicate cakes designed by other bakers. We believe that each of our clients deserves a unique cake created specifically for their event. We do use ideas and photos provided by clients as inspiration to create the perfect cake.
All cakes/desserts made by August June Desserts are made from scratch. We believe that there is NOTHING better than a freshly baked dessert!
We do travel to other cities or states. All expenses to travel out of state will be included in the final cost of your order. Travel expenses include transportation (air or ground), mileage, lodging, meals, and any other expenses related to your order.
The final price of your cake order will include delivery and set-up costs.
All of our cakes are made specifically for each of our couples. This is your day and the wedding cake should reflect the theme of the wedding, and your favorite cake flavors.
August June Desserts is a fully insured home based cake studio. Our kitchen has been approved by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture.
August June Desserts specializes exclusively in custom and wedding cakes. Rather than offering a wide range of desserts, we intentionally focus on creating statement cakes that are both visually stunning and unforgettable in flavor.
