Amen for Sweets

Amen for Sweets is a Chicago-based home bakery built from my love of baking and creating desserts that become part of life’s sweetest memories. I’m a professionally trained baker and pastry chef, and I’ve been creating custom cakes and desserts for families and special celebrations for years. For me, a wedding cake is more than just dessert. It becomes part of a memory—cutting the cake, sharing it with the people you love, and celebrating the beginning of a new chapter. I love working with couples to create cakes that feel personal to them, from the flavors inside to the smallest design details.

What sets Amen for Sweets apart is the care behind every cake I create. I bake from scratch using thoughtfully selected, high-quality ingredients, including organic ingredients whenever possible. My signature Italian meringue buttercream is silky, balanced, and less sweet than traditional buttercream, allowing the flavors of the cake to shine. Every wedding cake is handcrafted by me from beginning to end, giving each couple personal attention throughout the process. My goal is to create a cake that feels personal to your celebration, looks beautiful, and tastes just as memorable.
