Q: How gratuity handled?

We have two ways tips are handled: Allow a tip jar to be placed on the mobile bartending service bar for guests. Opt for “hosted gratuity" in which the tip jar is eliminated and the host pays 20% gratuity of the total cost of bartending services.

How do I rent Tipsy?

To book, inquired and we will send you a brochure with our package and prices. We require a $300 down payment along with a signed contract to secure your date. The remaining balance will be due 1 month prior to your event. That's it! Then it's party time!

Question 2

Does Tipsy supply the alcohol?

Accepted Answer

Due to Ohio State laws, we cannot provide or sell alcohol. The client must provide the alcohol. We are a BYOB bartending service, so we pour what is supplied by the event host or venue. Generally alcohol is supplied by a caterer, the venue or the client directly. We are happy to help you with menu planning and alcohol amounts!

Who makes sure that our guest don't get too TIPSY?

Our crew is trained in alcohol awareness to assist in any situation and Tipsy Trailer reserves the right to refuse service to guest(s) who, in the crew’s professional judgment, appear to have had too much to drink or seem impaired but our mobile bartending service works with you to make the call.

Absolutely! We carry general liability insurance as well as liquor liability insurance.

How much is your deposit?

This varies per contract and client preference. There is usually at a minimum of a $300 initial payment to retain your date which is non-refundable.

What requirements are needed for your set up?

Accepted Answer

As we are somewhat compact and don’t require much space, all of our bars are trailered in, so make sure that we can fit for drop off/pick up! We need a flat surface for set up, with access to a power outlet within 100 feet of the Mobile Bar. Not close to an outlet? No problem, A generator is available to rent for an additional fee.
