Hi. I'm Derek. I have bartended at some amazing places for almost 2 decades and decided to take the show on the road and create my own mobile bar. We create customizable packages that cater to all of our needs so your event is unforgettable. I have always been proud of what I have achieved throughout my career and now I get to do it my way. I am dedicated to making every couple's night special with amazing service, friendly staff, and delicious cocktails. From specialty cocktails, custom signage, and package upgrades, we are here to create magic with any event, big or small.

What sets me apart is I am one of if not the only LGBTQ+ mobile bar owner here in the valley. I am also a reality tv alum. If you're familiar with shows like The Real World and The Challenge on MTV, I am your guy.

    Amazing bartender experience!!!

    From the moment we booked This Drink's On D Mobile Bar, Derek made planning our wedding easy with his quick responses and helpful attitude. He showed up early to set up on our wedding day and didn't hesitate when we needed him to come an hour later—he just rolled with it and made it work. Derek created custom cocktails and signs that felt like they were made just for us, which really added to the celebration. What stood out most was how he brought genuine fun to the whole night while staying professional, making sure every guest felt special and cared for. You can tell Derek truly loves what he does, and that energy made our bar feel like the heart of the party. We'd absolutely recommend him to any couple looking to add something unique and personal to their wedding day!

    Ahhhhmazing!

    Derek was super communicative and helped me create a drink menu that everyone was able to enjoy. He was also very personable and professional throughout the event. Having a bartender helped make the event feel more upscale and took a huge load off planning for me. Will definitely be booking him again!!

    Derek was amazing! His drinks were the best. He really took the time to personalize each drink for the occasion! His setup was perfect and our guests really enjoyed everything!

    Derek is the absolute best! We have used his services for 2 separate occasions and he has been amazing both times. He makes custom cocktail signs for your events if needed and has a very well thought out setup :) would highly recommend!!

    I hired This Drinks on D for a small backyard party I was having. It’s our first time having a professional bartender but I wanted to do it for an added element to the party and so we didn’t have to worry about pouring drinks. The preparation was very smooth and Derek communicated well to ensure he was fully prepared for our event. He provided all the garnishes and mixers which was nice. He even had fun themed garnishes and paired them specifically for the type of drink. He helped determine the amount of beer and alcohol we should need and guided us with that. He showed up on time and the guests loved him. We liked the experience so much we extended his time by two hours which was nice flexibility. We plan to use them again for future parties. Definitely worth the money!

Arizona law prohibits us from purchasing and providing alcohol for your event. We are considered a DRY-HIRE service, which allows us to only serve alcohol being provided by the client. We will go over a customized shopping list and provide retailers to buy from. Most will let you return unopened purchases. For a fee, we will also retrieve your alcohol from any store prior to the event.
We require a retainer to confirm event date and time and to block off time slot from other inquiries. Retainer is 50% of total price, NON-REFUNDABLE. It is required once decision is made to hire us and contract is sent out. Once contract is signed, an invoice for deposit will be sent. Remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to event. If event is booked 30 days or less before the day of event, full price is required at booking.
We do require a minimum gratuity for each bartender hired for any event. This gratuity may be included in total price, or client may allow tip jars for guests to reach minimum. If the minimum is not met, the client will receive an invoice next-day to fulfill gratuity minimum. This will be discussed in your initial inquiry.
Yes we can provide a mocktail service if you need one.
