Founder

My name is Zach Glassman. I'm a Certified Specialist of Wine and a Certified Sommelier, and I've spent 15 years inside the wine industry as a wine educator, beverage director, and more. I still get the same rush when I help someone try a wine that delights them. That moment their eyes go wide and they say "wait, what IS this?" is why I do what I do. I started Tastings with the Glass Man because wine is the most social thing on earth. It's what gets people talking, laughing, and staying at the table longer than they planned to. The idea that I get to bring that energy to someone's wedding never gets old.

I'm a Wine Specialst, so wine is the entire focus, not one item on a bar menu. Most wedding beverage setups serve whatever's on hand. I build a wine program around you. We sit down beforehand to learn what you love, what you're curious about, and what fits your menu and budget, then I put together a curated list with sourcing and selection guidance so you know exactly what to pour and where to find it. On the day, I'm on the floor reading the room, recommending pours, and making sure your guests have the kind of night they talk about for years. A wine experience built just for you.

A sommelier-led tasting built around your group's palate and the vibe of the weekend. We start with a consultation to learn what you love, then I build a curated wine list with retailer recommendations so you know exactly what to pour. On the day, I run the tasting with pairing guidance and a few playful experiments. Up to 4 hours of on-site service. From $3,500.

The Rehearsal Dinner

Description

A sommelier-led wine experience that sets the tone for the celebration ahead. We start with a consultation to align the wine with your rehearsal dinner menu and your tastes, then I build a curated list across price points with retailer recommendations so you choose what fits. Throughout the dinner, I handle wine service table to table, with pairing guidance and coordination with your venue or restaurant. Up to 5 hours of on-site service. From $5,000.

The Wedding

Description

A sommelier-led wine program for the whole celebration, from cocktail hour through dinner and the toast. We start with a consultation to map the wine to your menu, venue, and guest list, then I build a complete written plan with retailer recommendations and guidance on sourcing allocated and limited-production bottles. We finalize everything at a private tasting before the day. Up to 6 hours of on-site service. From $7,500.

    A taste to remember!

    If you’re looking to elevate your event with a truly memorable and personalized experience, I cannot recommend Tastings with the Glass Man highly enough. I worked with Zach for my wedding, and from start to finish, he was absolutely outstanding. I chose the “Choice Pour” package because I really wanted a custom wine tasting experience for my guests - and that’s exactly what I got, and more. Zach took the time to understand my personal palate and seamlessly matched each wine to complement my venue’s menu. The level of thought and care he put into the selections was incredible, and it truly showed. Our guests are still talking about how unique and enjoyable the experience was. It added such a sophisticated and interactive element to the wedding that made the night feel even more special. All in all, I spent 2,400 on the service, and it was worth every single penny. If you’re on the fence, don’t be - this is one of those details that makes a lasting impression. Zach and Tastings with the Glass Man exceeded every expectation I had.

    From start to finish, Tastings with the Glass Man made our wedding day feel special and refined.     Fantastic service and wine knowledge
