In The Mix is a small Mobile Bartending business servicing the New England area! Word of mouth is our main marketing medium, so we focus on building a relationship that lets you know we got you covered! Our wedding receptions are always a big hit, but we also have years of experience with corporate events, private functions, and fundraisers! ITM has different packages depending on your vision including all inclusive. Our bartenders come with decades of experience and professionalism. We can’t wait to make your special day memorable!

We are fully licensed and insured to guarantee your next event is a success! We do come with a bar set up for the locations that do not have a bar on site. No matter where you’re planning you’re next party- we can bartend there!

    Awful Experience

    We hired In the Mix for our wedding in August 2025, and they were far and away our worst vendor from start to finish. I’m very disappointed to have to write this review, but I highly advise you to stay FAR FAR away from this vendor for any event, especially a wedding. They absolutely ruined our cocktail hour. They told both of our wedding planners to “f*** off”, in addition to 2 wedding guests. They told the bride that she didn’t know what an Irish car bomb was, meanwhile they were pouring baileys directly into Guinness and letting it sit to curdle. The event I was most looking forward to throughout the entire weekend was this car bomb competition because it is a family tradition and it was absolutely ruined. We had multiple calls and email communications outlining every detail because we knew this was going to be a busy time. No one on the final planning call was even at our wedding, and with no communication it turns out the man Jim we had been communicating with the entire time (which was a brutally painful process) no longer works for the company — we were not told and it was clear there was no communication on the transition. We hired and staffed extra bartenders and bar backs to accommodate our size group and requests, but it was clear they were very ill prepared. This includes us agreeing to have trays of signature drinks ready to go so guests could grab at the beginning of cocktail hour, which did not happen and led to a barn line of 100 people who were waiting to be served instead of enjoying their time together. We had talked many times about In the Mix bringing ice and they showed up with nothing. Our wedding planners had to run out and grab ice for the entire event, which was a huge undertaking. They severely delayed our timeline for the entire night, leading to less time dancing. We also rented glassware to be used for cocktail hour, which was not even opened - money spent to rent the glasses that went right down the drain. Our classy cocktail hour looked like a frat basement with the use of red solo cups everywhere. They also didn’t use any of our garnishes at cocktail hour, which we spent hours cutting and prepping. Nicole the owner was nice on our prep call (which we requested to have - this is not the norm for them) but seriously needs to work with her entire staff to train them on communication and customer relations because the service we received was absolutely unacceptable. Steph, the on-site lead was also nice and apologetic and did what she could to help right some of the wrongs, but we will never get our cocktail hour back, which is really a tragedy as that’s time we will never get back on the biggest day of our lives. One that should have been filled only with joy was ridden with stress and many things going wrong. The team absolutely needs to fire the bartender who was cussing at our guests and wedding planners and seriously reconsider the people they hire to staff their events. Our venue has banned them from ever doing another event there again. That should tell you everything you need to know. I only wish someone had warned us sooner. Do not hire In the Mix. They were the most unprofessional, disrespectful, and careless vendor we have ever encountered.

    Excellent Bartenders

    We hired In The Mix for our wedding. Unfortunately, after our first conversation with In The Mix, we struggled to get timely responses from the team when trying to finalize the reservation and contract early on. For the wedding, we purchased all of the beer and wine and they served it. The bartenders and service we had at our wedding was fantastic. Multiple guests commented on how great the bartenders were. Even guests who were drinking non-alcoholic drinks were impressed by their service. They were polite, professional, friendly, and efficient. I would highly recommend their services.

    Dream Bartender

    I just love Nicole and her team at In the mix bartending! I’ve worked with Nicole a few times on events and her professionalism along with her attention to detail is impeccable. She’s such a sweetheart and is definitely the kind of person you want on your wedding team. I’m so grateful to have crossed paths and to suggest them to all my couples!
