Founded in 2005 by Ian Gotler and Tony Liebetrau, RedShoe is a boutique DJ collective based in Los Angeles. Our DJs are passionate music enthusiasts who enjoy collaborating with their clients. We believe music is the backbone of any successful event and strive to create the perfect ambiance for each phase of your party. Combining high-end event professionalism with superior technical skill and state of the art audio equipment, RedShoe DJs specialize in creating unique, memorable, and collaboratively-crafted soundtracks that bring your guests together – hands in the air – on a packed dance floor.

DJ of our Dreams
My now husband and I admittedly had a hard time conceptualizing our wedding music. We felt it would be impossible to include my husband's favorite EDM music and capture the full scope of my music (I am a cross-genre mood-based music fan). Once we met with RedShoe, we immediately felt understood. The owner explained the vibe their company was founded on and it mimicked the music vibe we were going for perfectly. Other companies we talked to had so many DJ options that they wanted us to pick from, who all felt the same, that it felt overwhelming. RedShoe recommended one DJ, Tommy, saying they felt he would understand our music taste. That was the understatement of the century. From our first call, my husband and Tommy bonded over their shared favorite DJ, and it made us so excited for the big day. They also helped us secure a saxophonist to play alongside Tommy as a massive surprise for our guests. From the pre-ceremony music, which we could hear from our hiding place, my husband excitedly said "Oh wow - Tommy got the vision!" The music from start to end was perfect - perfectly weaving our eclectic taste into one huge party. Mix that with the fantastic saxophonist, Jordan, who absolutely KILLED, and my guests were completely wowed. Everyone kept coming up to us to tell us it was the most fun they'd had at a wedding. Thank you RedShoe, Tommy, and Jordan! We are so grateful!

The Best DJ!
So happy we went with RedShoe for our wedding! We worked with Jonathan (JCR), who was amazing. He was so helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding in discussing music choices and timing, and offered some really great advice based on his experience with our specific venue, which was so great. He did an amazing job with all of our requests, playing exactly the type of music we were hoping for during our cocktail hour and dinner. For the ceremony, he timed the songs perfectly for our walks down the aisle, and for the party and dancing he read the room and played the BEST music. We got so many compliments on the music and many guests asked who the DJ was. Jonathan was super sweet, and we really appreciated his help and his work! Highly recommend RedShoe and JCR!

All Star DJ
We highly recommend redshoe for your DJ needs. We had the pleasure of working with Anthony and he was incredible. Leading up to the wedding, we had a couple chats which made us feel super comfortable with his style. He helped us with putting together our songs for the night and even customized our first dance song for us! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night which is just what we wanted. We had so many people compliment how amazing our DJ was. If you want to ensure a fun wedding, book with redshoe!
