Hi, my name is Cris and I am the owner of Red Velvet DJ! I actually started DJ-ing at the age of 11 (1996). In my early 20's I transitioned to DJ-ing at various clubs & lounges throughout the Chicagoland area. (Where I grew up and lived till 2019) Some of them include Dragonfly, Bella Lounge, Republic, Wet, Waterhouse, and Rebel in Wrigleyville. I have focused primarily on weddings since 2009. My open format mixing style is very diverse, so I am able to blend all genres of music together! I live in Temecula with my wife, 2 children, and 2 dogs. I have a love for basketball, wine, long walks, and vacuuming around the house. =)

The Red Velvet DJ’s team is an energetic group of entertainment specialists who are experts at creating a lively atmosphere. The company offers easy to understand packages designed to cover each aspect of the day’s entertainment. It includes consultations, full-day coverage, MC service, and professional audio equipment. Couples can also enhance their experience with Cold Spark Machines, custom monogram, and even a photo booth. All pricing is up-front with no other hidden costs.

    This review is long overdue! I cannot recommend Red Velvet Dj’s enough. So professional, easy going, calm and collected. All the things you need to make a wedding run smoothly and keep a bride calm as well :) Cris is very communicative and so polite and kind. Everything was perfect. He was honestly perfect at reading the crowd and knowing exactly what to ply and when to play it. I had so much fun! You will be doing yourself a Favor by hiring Cris for your event!!
