Pan String

The Pan String Quartet is owned by husband-and-wife Dr. YongHao Pan and Dr. Amy Pan. Amy Pan, Ph.D., (viola) is organized and timely. Her husband, YongHao Pan, D.M.A, (cello/bass) is a Juilliard-trained musician with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Music Performance. As a husband-and-wife ensemble, they perform every event together to maintain consistency and quality. They met at Louisiana State University while performing in the LSU Symphony Orchestra. The violinists hired are from the Baton Rouge Symphony. The Pan String Quartet specializes in providing elegant live music for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

The professional musicians are Ph.D. and D.M.A graduates and members of the Acadiana Symphony, Baton Rouge Symphony, Gulf Coast Symphony, Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, and Rapides Symphony. All Pan String Quartet musicians are accomplished professional musicians and we take pride in the high quality of their musicianship. You will hear the difference.
