2Proud2Beg is not only a tribute band to great funk, r & b and soul from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, but also a band that is versatile in Top 40/Pop music as well; making them perfect for a wide range of events. With heavy influences in Jazz and Gospel, they delight in recreating music from artists like Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson & much more. 2Proud2Beg loves to play live energetic events and entertain audiences by authentically performing songs that everyone knows and loves. What sets us a part is that unlike most bands, once we start a set the music never stops. The idea is that it is very similar to how DJ's do music today. We plan our songs to roll right into each other and do also do mashups. This keeps the dance floor packed all night long. The thing that we do well is a great mix of old school and new school. At wedding receptions we usually start the night off with more old school songs because that's when parents and grandparents will be on the dance floor, as the night rolls on we do more contemporary songs. We also work with clients to customize the songs list for the event.
