“Working with Mia made our wedding day impossibly easy and free of stress. She is incredible in every way! The service she provided to us was invaluable throughout the whole wedding planning process. Our wedding was at a relatively full service venue, so I initially wasn't sure whether working with Mia was necessary. However, I can confidently say that reaching out to her was the best decision I made in the entire wedding planning process! I am generally very Type A, so I was less concerned about everything going smoothly on the wedding day and more worried about being able to truly enjoy the day and live in the moment. I stumbled upon Mia's podcast and, after listening to only a handful of episodes, immediately knew I needed to contact her. In the month or so leading up to our wedding day, I felt uncharacteristically at ease, and I am certain that I owe this sense of calm to Mia. Being able to brain dump little details, concerns, etc. to Mia was incredibly helpful. It made me feel like somebody else cared as deeply about everything going right as I did. One particular puzzle involving our transportation was driving me crazy, and I spent several days poring over some possible solutions. I finally decided to send an email to Mia outlining the problem, and within a half hour, she sent back a brilliant, detailed solution that ended up working perfectly. Although I was already impressed by Mia before the wedding day, I couldn't believe just how valuable her services were on the actual day. There were so many points where Mia swooped in to help before I even knew help was needed. She acted as my “eyes and ears” that afternoon as other vendors set everything up at the venue. She was right on top of contacting the trolley company when they were a few minutes late for picking up the wedding party (I actually didn't even know they were running late until later that day, as it was all handled before I even had a chance to stress about it). She was right there with safety pins when a clasp on my dress was faulty. And she even held an umbrella over me to block the sun during photos (not sure where she even got it – she was like Mary Poppins, with the perfect supplies appearing in thin air!) It was almost as if she was in multiple places at the same time. Our wedding party was also grateful to have her phone number throughout the day for anything that came up. At the end of the event, Mia loaded all of the decor into our car and even took many of our leftover florals to a nearby nursing home the next day so they wouldn’t go to waste. I genuinely don't know who would have taken care of things like this if Mia wasn't there. Even now that our wedding day was a few weeks ago, I continue to hear stories of Mia that I didn't even know about. For example, at one point, my mom was trying to help some older relatives call a cab back to their hotel before the end of the night. All of a sudden, Mia appeared by her side and took care of it. I am so grateful to her for handling things like this so my mom could fully enjoy such an important day for our family. If you are unsure about whether you need a day-of coordinator, you will not regret working with Mia! Just knowing Mia was there made my stress level infinitely lower. I truly felt like I could soak up the joy of our wedding day without worrying about the little details and the flow of the day. Thank you, Mia, for playing such a big role in making our wedding day as special as it was!”

“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. “My now husband and I LOVED working with Amalia and her wife, Jenna, to bring our wedding night dinner to life. My husband and I chose a courthouse wedding ceremony - just us - but knew we wanted to invite close friends and family to an intimate dinner that evening to celebrate. I wasn't sure where to begin - I contacted Amalia and sent her photos from Pinterest as my inspiration. Amalia truly blew us away from day 1 - she created custom dinner invites for us based on my inspiration photos. She sent over multiple proofs of her one-of-a-kind digital designs until it was perfectly done. I never had to reach out to her - Amalia was on top of my deadlines and full of ideas for my dream night! Her communication is excellent. My husband and I picked a venue in Scotch Plains, NJ to host our dinner. The restaurant offered private, charming rooms for special events. I knew I wanted to keep the wildflower color scheme of my bouquet in the details. However, I let her know I was very open to letting her take the lead in designing the setup. My husband and I arrived before our guests and were blown away with the ambiance and warmth of the room. Amalia designed custom welcome notes, name cards and signage for us that matched our initial invites. She embedded special details such as mini figurines of our beloved lab and pug, and printed framed a photo I sent earlier in the day of my courthouse ceremony! She and her wife, Jenna, handmade flower bouquets for the table and lit beautiful hand-painted candles in the center.
