The Hood River Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend. From the moment we first contacted them, the staff was efficient and helpful, providing lots of great ideas to make our day special. The venue itself is cozy, with a beautiful vintage vibe that made it feel intimate and personal. They were able to quickly flip the space from our ceremony to the reception, and the team helped me create a vision for the decor without even being there in person. Our whole experience was incredible - we bought out the entire hotel so all our guests could stay with us, which made the weekend feel so special and memorable. We loved every second at the Hood River Hotel and highly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful, unique wedding venue.

We are SO happy we chose Gorges for our wedding venue! Kelli and Travis were great to work with - we especially loved Kelli’s professionalism AND laid-back vibe. (She gets things done but doesn’t seem stressed about it) Here’s what we loved about our wedding: The setting. It really is breathtaking. We didn’t use any extra decor for the ceremony because it wasn’t necessary. We also loved the flow of the lawn, bar, and tent. All so beautiful! The food and drinks were delicious! We had a blast. We booked an after party in the brewery, and it was so much fun - and quite easy to go from the tent into the brewery. The staff. We only heard great things about how easy they were to work with. In short, Gorges provided the wedding of our dreams - a beautiful PNW setting with great food and drinks and the ease we needed so we could focus on connecting and celebrating with our people.

As a DJ who has had the pleasure of working numerous weddings at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, I can confidently say it is one of the most breathtaking and seamless venues I’ve had the honor of working at. From the moment you arrive, the stunning backdrop of Mt. Hood and the surrounding forest creates an unparalleled atmosphere. The most unique feature, is that the wedding party can ride the Alpine Slides down to the reception! The staff at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is truly exceptional. They are not only professional but also incredibly accommodating and friendly. I've worked with their team on several occasions, and every time, they’ve been organized, communicative, and eager to ensure that everything runs smoothly. They work tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure that the couple's vision comes to life, and they always go above and beyond to keep everything on schedule—an absolute blessing for any wedding vendor. Overall, I cannot recommend Mt. Hood Ski Bowl enough for couples looking for a one-of-a-kind wedding experience. We had our wedding here, and were very happy with the experience. The venue is affordable, and included chairs and some tables. The policies were good (access times, alcohol, decor, parking). The venue is so pretty we didn't do a lot! Specifically: full day access, alcohol allowed with your own OLCC permitee, choose your own catering, chairs and some tables included, lights included, rehearsal dinner time included. Nearby ample parking. The location is close to some photo spots, and if you like the look you can do photos there (we did). There are nearby AirBnBs, plus Troutdale hotels. Some downsides: 2 bathrooms that are downstairs only. The stairs are narrow. This is not a venue that will be super accessible to those with walking disabilities because of that. Capacity of 80, but probably most comfortable for 50-70. There is no "getting ready" space.
