He even set up an extra speaker during our cocktail hour. During the dancing, he saw our dancefloor crowd (who we hoped might have some of the older folks, so we requested motown) and saw it was just younger friends. So he dropped in some 2005-era hip-hop and punk rock and got it really bumping :D We all had a blast!”

“Jessica and her team truly made my wedding magical. Sustainability and ethical sourcing were a priority for us and Jessica provided all US grown flowers. She even sourced vegetables from local farmers to use in the tablescapes that we and our guests took home and has meals made from them for the next couple of weeks! But the real magic was the colors she picked out. I wanted a very colorful, jewel toned world at my wedding and Jessica found flowers that both matched that aesthetic and complimented the whole medieval vibe of the theme. Her team also showed amazing flexibility when our ceremony location was changed at the last minute due to rain. Instead of decorating an archway they were decorating a completely different space with pillars, but they made it work and everything was ready on time. I’ve loved Jessica’s work so much that I’ve gone on to order flowers for other occasions. She did the flowers for my daughter’s first birthday which was Enchanted Forest themed and most recently my husband picked up a Valentine’s Day arrangement from her shop. “Working with S&LM was pretty good. They communicated to me closer to the event, and asked me for everything they needed and more. The pictures I have seen so far look great, and the small video I have seen looked good as well. They made sure I got almost all of the specific photos I wanted, and had a take-charge attitude while photographing, and making sure everyone was in the right place and looking great! The DJs were pretty good, but didn't know all the specific songs we mentioned that we wanted played for certain dances/moments. They also didn't announce the first dance until they were hitting the play button, which threw our choreography off until we asked them to restart! Unfortunately, some people missed our dance because they didn't know that it was happening. It still worked out in the end, and all the right songs were played at the right moments. All in all, I would definitely recommend Lights & Sound Media to prospective couples.”

I'm a destination wedding & elopement photographer. I was born and raised in Rhode Island but I spend most of my time on flights documenting beautiful love stories all over the world. As a child all, I can remember was carrying around one of those Fujifilm cameras and taking photos of family and friends. Fast forward to 2017, I decided to take my hobby of photography seriously.
