Uncloudy Studio

  • Florist
  • Starts at $3,000

My passion for floral design began over twenty years ago in a greenhouse in a small Michigan town, traveled through the mountains of Colorado and Arizona, to the beaches of Southern California, settling in Washington, DC. Education in graphic design has helped to sharpen my attention to detail and given me an eye for color and composition.

We loved the flowers for our wedding! They worked within our budget and made the wedding bouquet of my dreams. I’d highly recommend using them for any event or wedding.

24k Event Band

5.0

Washington, DC
  • Band or Ensemble

24k Event Band is THE DMV's ultimate entertainment experience. Quick to respond, flexible, personable, with outstanding vocals, musicians and leadership, your party will be the one to beat. 24k is a premium experience from the first call to the very end. It is our goal to make certain we meet your expectations and will work with you to create your vision in every way. I couldn't be more proud to share this band with the DMV, and I know you will be as thrilled as I am, from the first organizing steps to the last note! Recent news: 24k is proud to have been chosen as the entertainment for the National Women's Art Museum in October!

We hired 24K Event Band for our long-postponed COVID wedding this March (2022). They were phenomenal in every way. From the very beginning, Jill, the band leader, made the experience very easy. She was incredibly responsive and helpful. She guided us through the process, asked all the right questions and helped us think of things we certainly hadn't thought of ourselves. The band learned two custom songs for us, one for our first dance and another for the mother/son dance. They CRUSHED the songs! Absolutely amazing. Overall the entire experiences was beyond my wildest dreams. Everyone at the wedding was amazed by the talent and energy of the band. We loved all of the vendors we worked with to make our night special, but 24K Event Band went above and beyond and really made the night come together. I would highly, highly recommend them. Great energy, great enthusiasm, amazing to work with, and incredible talent.

We held our wedding at Mess Hall in October 2024 and couldn't be happier with how things went. From the very beginning, working with Al, the owner, was a dream. He's incredibly responsive and thoughtful and helped us think through a vision for the evening. He had great recommendations for food and drink that felt personal to our taste as a couple. His ability to think big-picture AND attend to the smallest details made for an incredibly smooth planning process and sensational wedding day. Our guests loved the industrial vibe of the garage bay and the farmhouse/tavern feel of the interior rooms - the best of both worlds! When speeches went long during dinner, Al worked with us in the moment to adjust our timeline so we could maximize time on the dance floor. Al doesn't miss a beat. We wholeheartedly recommend Mess Hall for your next big event!

With over ten years of experience, Precious Pics is proud to have made many brides’ days easier to remember by producing beautiful wedding photos and films. We are professionals at everything that we do and stay connected with couples before and after the Big Day. We help with your timelines, design packages specifically for your personal needs, and never surprise you with fees or hidden expenses.

Precious Pics White Glove was an amazing wedding photography vendor for our special day. Their communication style was very communicative. We really appreciated how their white glove concierge stayed on top of things and assisted us throughout the process. The quality of their work and value was awesome. The photos came out exactly as we wanted, and the video was even longer than we expected. Their concierge did our timeline and assisted with a lot of arrangements, providing advice that even our planner didn't give. Overall, this is a great company that I highly recommend using. I am an editorial wedding photographer who is passionate about documenting authentic moments from your wedding as well as fine art classic portraits. Aside from memorable photographs, I believe every couple wants a wedding photographer to be a trusted partner and someone that can add value.

I was on the fence about whether to hire a photographer for my microwedding -- so I'm lucky that a friend referred me to Nadine! Working with Nadine was seamless, easy, and (even for someone as camera-shy as I) fun! She made my partner, my family, and me look and feel our best. Nadine had tons of great ideas about where to shoot, plans in case of rain, and jokes to keep us smiling. She made creating a gallery of gorgeous photos feel effortless. We loved working with her and recommend her to anyone looking for timeless photographs of their special day!

Natasha Lamalle Photography

Washington, DC
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style

The best way to tell honest stories is through keen observation. How do I know? Because I spent 15 years as a journalist before becoming a wedding photographer. By paying attention to the ways you interact with your loved ones, I capture the in-between moments that will, one day, be significant. And using a trained eye and subtle approach, I do so unobtrusively.

Awarded Best of Zola
Natasha was the first vendor we hired after choosing our venue. She is astonishing. She seamlessly blends into the crowd to take photos that capture the essence of your wedding and always manages to find the perfect picture that will make you cry, laugh, and then cry again. She has a remarkable eye. If you want to get away from stilted formal shots and remember and celebrate the actual day of your wedding, work with Natasha. She makes the entire wedding process a joy, from the initial meeting with her to the date night she set up for you to view your photos. She also does "slice of life" engagement shoots which can be a fun and casual date night that she captures with her incredible camera. Everyone has been blown away by the quality of the pictures. There is a reason that she is a top world wedding photographer. I trust Natasha completely. If you are not interested in classic boring posed photos, you can do no better than to hire Natasha Lamalle immediately. She is a true artist with a camera. You will fall in love over and over again through her photos.

Hey I’m Mark! A photographer and videographer based in Washington, DC, originally from sunny central Florida. I’ve been honored to have my personal creative work featured in Stencil Magazine and The Phoblographer. With experience ranging from Disney’s Photopass program to weddings, events, and even automotive photography, I bring a diverse skill set to every shoot. My passion for capturing moments and my technical expertise in both photography and videography ensure that each session is tailored to create timeless, captivating imagery.

We found "Mark Joven Photography" through my fiancé who worked with him before during group trips with his friends. I really liked the photos he took we booked him for our engagement photos and he did NOT disappoint at ALL! He brought two assists with him and spent 2 days taking photos for us at multiple locations of our choosing! Mark was very professional and made each day go by seamlessly! We hung out like old friends and made a day of Magic Kingdom after taking our photos at our favorite places in the park! We got all our shots back within a week of taking them and they were all so beautiful I cried! They are some of the best pictures I’ve ever had! We decided to hire him for our wedding as a videographer and backup photographer should we need him! Also his prices are SUPER reasonable and affordable! If you’re looking to book him I wouldn’t hesitate! I’m pretty sure we’re gonna use him for future milestones! Mark is definitely a 10/10 and as a former photographer myself I am VERY picky when it comes to my photography so I can say I don’t say 10/10 unless i truly mean it!!

My style is distinct, a result of both my unrelenting commitment to my craft and complete trust from clients who commission me. You’re not going to read about any awards, badges, or “top 10 lists” because what matters is you’re in love with the work that you see and are ready to trust me entirely to do what I do. This trust drives me to find the perfect balance between creative experimentation and honest documentation.

All I knew was that I was marrying my fiancé and that Sam was going to be our photographer. I didn’t care about anything else except that he was our photographer. The engagement session was so much fun! The day of the wedding was unbelievable. He’s so calm and professional. He answered all of my questions throughout the process quickly without getting frustrated. Lastly, his work is is just AMAZING! Highly recommend if you love bright colorful unique photos.

Kelton from Marquee Artists is awesome - he killed it dj-ing for the clients, the dance floor was non-stop going nuts the whole time! His demeanor is super low-key and easy going, and he was very easy to work with, which means a lot in this field. Weddings have lots of moving parts and can be chaotic, but having vendors that are kind and willing to work as a team makes the day go a whole lot smoother. The couple had lots of requests for songs in completely different genres, but he managed to keep the party going with no awkward pauses and seamless transitions. Growing up in rural Virginia my intro to photography came to me at 14 while breaking into abandoned houses with friends to take photos that can only be describe in retrospection as “experimental”. Fast forward a handful of years and I found myself going 'legit' and holding a BFA in photography, later finding yet more perspective and cutting my teeth shooting society events in NYC. Having now spent more years of my life taking photos than not, it’s safe to say that I’m all in.

Cassidy has an amazing report when working with clients and the staff on weddings. We have absolutely had the best experiences from the booking process, through to the ease of the day of the wedding. Always being great at transitioning the clients, bringing smiles to their faces and then producing beautiful imagery. We have loved working with Cassidy for the last 8 years and know that he bring professionalism, a unique perspective, and humor to ever wedding day.

Marquita Chambers was born in the Washington, DC metro area and found her love of makeup after graduating high school. She then found herself in love with the beauty industry where she began working at beauty retailer, Sephora, to gain knowledge of skincare, luxury cosmetics lines and to experience working with clients one-on-one.

Awarded Best of Zola
I thoroughly enjoyed working with Marquita for my wedding. She listened to me, asked great questions, and made our time getting ready for my wedding enjoyable. She has a creative mind. I asked for color on my lips and she blended a warm, vibrant lip color that fit our color scheme and my personality. Marquita was professional. She listened to any contract concerns I had, she was on time. She worked well with the other contractors such as the photographer, church staff, and wedding planner. If you want someone who works hard and delivers beautiful results, I highly recommend Marquita.
