The house annually attracts thousands of visitors and wedding guests when our field of 1.2 million sunflowers blooms in August. Guests can utilize the interior of the farmhouse which seats up to 50, as well as the manicured grounds which seats up to 300 in one of our tents.

“I knew that we wanted a rustic wedding, but I did not like the idea of a barn wedding. I wanted something more elegant but still relaxed. My fiancé (now husband) came across the Yellow House online and set up a tour. It is absolutely stunning - built in 1857 and wonderfully maintained. My husband and I live in Cleveland, and do not a connection to Erie, but the two-hour distance was no problem for our guests, and Erie vendors are very inexpensive to work with - added bonus! I think our entire wedding would cost triple if we tried in Cleveland, but there is nothing like the Yellow House in our area. I would definitely recommend the Yellow House to anyone looking for a truly unique venue.”
