Freshwater Farms of Ohio is the largest indoor fish hatchery in the state of Ohio and the home of the Ohio Fish & Shrimp Festival. For more than three decades, we have been extending a warm welcome to visitors at our farm. Exploring our farm is fun for all ages and completely free. During your visit, make sure to stop by our Sturgeon Petting Zoo. There you can get close and personal with rare and endangered fish species. Engage in the exhilarating Trout Feeding Frenzy and watch them splash in excitement as you feed them by hand. Additionally, our hatchery and retail store have an extensive collection of Fish & Critter Displays, offering a diverse range of aquatic life to explore.

We have 4 beautiful banquet rooms that over look the golf course. With a covered patio called the terrace room. All the rooms open up to each other. We can hold up to 175 guests. We provide all catering through our in house chef. We provide all services, food, bar, set-up, tear down, linens, napkins and China, staffing and bartenders. All you have to bring is a DJ, dessert, photographer, minister, and florist. We also provide you with an event coordinator for the entire day. Along with rehearsal scheduled the day before your wedding.

Tucked just beyond a private meandering lane, one will be taken back in time to our Old-World Tuscan, open-air Pavilion. Thoughtfully positioned on a 17-acre Nature Preserve, Cedar Springs Pavilion offers a panoramic view of Ohio’s nature. Please contact us on our website or email us directly. We first used our barn for our daughter's wedding because she wanted to have her magical day in the barn and backyard she grew up in. During our wedding, guests kept telling us "what a great idea to use this for a wedding". We had our first Big Barn Venue wedding in 2018 and we continued to book more dates throughout the wedding season. Our barn does not have heating or air so we cannot accommodate much farther outside of the months of June - October. Our brides, grooms, family and friends that have visited the barn for a wedding have truly enjoyed the country scenery we offer and also the amount of space the wedding has to use for a reception and ceremony. Photographers love the fields and they enjoy using almost all of the 200 acres for beautiful photos and videos.
