“The first time I met Tony I knew he was going to be our DJ. He was so easy to talk to, and aside from that out of all the DJs we met with he was the only one that asked us what we wanted and what kind of music we had in mind. Hiring Tony was by far THE BEST decision we have ever made. Our dance floor was packed all night, and even the event staff were dancing throughout the night because he was that good. Everyone I talk to raves about how much fun they had and how awesome he was. Not only will he make sure the music is great and your dance floor is on fire, but he actually cares about what you and your significant other want. The week before our wedding so many vendors were reaching out to us about all the things that needed to be finalized; but when we met with Tony that Tuesday before our wedding he was such a breath of fresh air. After that meeting my finance and I were like okay we are ready, and we know we are going to have fun. Not only is Tony himself an amazing DJ and person but so are the other members of his team. One of his associates was the DJ for our afterparty and he was equally as amazing. We can honestly say that we had SO MUCH FUN at our wedding and a large part of that was due to Tony and his team. Day of coordination was perfect for us since we already had a pretty clear vision for what we wanted the decor to be and look like, we just needed someone to implement it day of and Alexis and her team did just that! They do not offer previews for the flowers if you’re doing floral but trust that they are experienced, my flowers and bouquet were absolutely beautiful and just in line with my colors! Alexis and I weren’t communicating on a weekly basis which makes sense since I hired her for just day of, but we did chat just enough to get a good grasp of what needed to be done. She met with me for the first time three months out and then a second time like 2 weeks before the day. Alexis was very patient and kind throughout the day especially when we had to make last minute changes but everything still worked out great and our wedding day was perfect. “When I heard about the Colonial at Sunset and its location, I assumed it was going to be another barn venue. Nothing wrong with barn venues, it just wasn’t our vision for our day. The entire property was our backyard wedding dream and the owners made our experience better than we could have imagined. Britt and her husband went above and beyond for us. Before we even arrived to start getting ready for the day, her husband was out front pressure washing the outdoor area where we chose to have our ceremony. I am so grateful for their hearts and the details they payed attention to so we didn’t have to worry about it or even think about it. We opted for the all inclusive package which made our experience with planning that much easier. I recall one meeting asking if I was missing anything or if there was anything more I needed to do because it all felt too easy and she assured me that with her help, that’s how it was supposed to feel. Leading up to the day of the wedding we knew we wanted our focus to be on each other and God and walking into the day we knew we could confidently do that because of Britt and the way she serves others on their special day with excellence. “Maddy was absolutely INCREDIBLE. From the moment we connected with her, we knew she was it. I had searched high and low for months, after seeing so many washed out, boring photos - Maddy's photography was an absolute breath of fresh air. Her work was full of life, love, energy, emotion and beautiful colors; which I knew was exactly what I wanted! Once Maddy spoke with us on the phone, she felt familiar and comfortable, like an old friend, to which she TRULY did become someone we can consider a friend. Maddy was there for us with whatever we needed through the entire planning process... She is impeccable with her communication, and whether it was questions, moral support, or just a lighthearted pick me up - she ALWAYS was there for us. Maddy also has an incredible eye, and her vision for photos is next level... She was able to direct us through everything and if you need yourself a hype girl - OH SHE IS IT!!! She’s also an absolute BOSS and will take control of a situation *if need be,* which was also important to us.. She made group/family/bridal party photos quick and painless which was SO needed, and also got a TON of fun shots through the night! Seeing our shots come to life was spectacular, and when she sent us the sneak peaks we were absolutely FLOORED.... And then seeing our full gallery!? Stunning. Just truly extraordinary. “So, I feel after allllllll the people I came across on my bridal journey, this is my most important review I want everyone who reads, to take into consideration everything I am saying. Picture this: So, I’m about 2 months away from my wedding. All the big decisions and deadlines are rolling in, vendors are either trying to take advantage of me, blowing me off and not responding or giving very little guidance. It got to the point where I’m thinking…this isn’t fun anymore. I realized then I needed some professional help. Forget those “day of coordinators” your venue offers. They work for the venue and not for you at the end of the day. I searched social media and read a billion recommendations and comments before landing on Astonishing events. I reached out to Stephanie and she got to me right away, which is super refreshing when no one else involved in the wedding is responding back in a timely manner. She talked about everything she offers, her pricing, how it works and even listened to me complain about everything, much like a therapist would. You won’t find a more genuine, helpful person on this journey…I promise you. By the time was all said and done I wished I could have added her as a bridesmaid. lol There is no limit to the hats she wears. She does it all! She handled all the vendors that were dragging their feet and made them jump. She sorted out my highly inflamed floral quote and saved me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. That alone paid for her services and then some. She got permits figured out the day of my wedding that the venue was giving me a hard time about. She literally repotted all my isle flowers, made sure everything was okay with me in the bridal suite, guided everyone during the day, set up a TON of decor. Which by the way, she has her own catalog of things you can rent at a FRACTION of the prices these other places will charge you. She’s the friend everyone needs. She’s is either a super hero or has a stunt double that is also a super hero. I haven’t decided yet. I don’t know how she did it but she made my wedding everything I ever dreamed of and wished it would be. I can’t say enough good about her. Astonishing Events is who you need. End of story.
