42West Entertainment Group

5.0

Atlanta, GA
  • Up to 350 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $5,500

Welcome to 42 West! Congrats on your special day! We are situated in a 50 year old building right in the middle of the hustle bustle of the West Side. Our space has all new upgrades and the warmth of unique brick touches. We are one of the newest independent venues on the west side of Atlanta with the only true outdoor space. Our stunning large iron doors open to our beautifully lit patio. Our entrance to venue is super unique and hidden. You guests will be so shocked when the wind their way to the space! This venue is for couple who want an industrial feel, with high ceilings and high end finishes. We can't wait to hear from you.

I got married at 42West in September 2024 and I'm convinced it's the best wedding venue in Atlanta. Lauren is incredible and went above & beyond to help us execute a beautiful cocktail hour, ceremony, and reception (plus an amazing afterparty). We booked the venue a year in advance, and every time we came back to visit in the meantime, Lauren had made a new upgrade to the space - she expanded the bridal suite, acquired the Annex and Gallery, and expanded her furniture & decor inventory. She really took the time to understand our vision for the evening, and we valued her input & advice throughout the planning process. Other than a last name sign, we had ZERO decor budget - Lauren recreated my Pinterest board vision entirely from her own inventory. 42West's flexibility allowed us to plan an extremely personalized evening with minimal logistical stress, and their team expertly managed setup & vendor coordination. If you're comparing against other venues, 42West's biggest differentiators are: 1) No nickel-and-diming. We paid a flat price for unlimited event time and there are no surprise operational fees or taxes added on top. 2) Decor assistance. We had a low decor budget and did not prioritize aesthetics, but the wedding was still gorgeous thanks to 42West's variety of beautiful spaces and extensive furniture & decor inventory. 3) Flexibility. Lauren was very accommodating, and all venue rules are reasonable and did not feel restrictive in the slightest. We LOVED hosting our afterparty in the 42West Annex - it was one of the biggest highlights of the day - but this wouldn't have been possible at most ITP venues due to a combination of space constraints, end-time rules, or noise restrictions.

The Chapel on Sycamore

Decatur, GA

  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $2,500

A historic venue in the heart of Downtown Decatur. Graceful archways, high arched wood beam ceilings and hardwood floors throughout. Built in 1895 and lovingly restored in 2021, the Chapel on Sycamore is a stunning venue.

Awarded Best of Zola
We got married at The Chapel on Sycamore in April and it was everything that we had hoped for! The chapel itself is gorgeous with the dark wood interior and stained glass, and the outdoor space in the spring was perfect for everything from photos to cocktail hour gathering. We had 200 guests and the space was accommodating. Lisa was with us to coordinate our day from the very start and was incredibly prepared, responsive, timely, and helpful in answering my many questions throughout the planning process. She met me at the Chapel to visit multiple times to look at the space as I was planning the event. We used Oakhurst Market, a preferred caterer, for our food and got many compliments (and loved the food ourselves!). We loved the location in Decatur near restaurants and bars for our guests and the ease of travel and proximity to the city and it was easy to book parking for our guests nearby with Lisa's assistance. I would highly recommend The Chapel on Sycamore as an excellent wedding/event venue with lovely and helpful staff. The pictures included are by OliviaRosePhotography.

Spring Hall Event Venue

4.5

ATLANTA, GA
  • Up to 400 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $5,500

Nestled within the Global Forum, a European-styled architectural plaza, Spring Hall is an event venue that offers versatility and style paired with exceptional service. Elegant and sophisticated décor with a unique neutral color palette, Spring Hall can accommodate any type of event and help you create the special memories which will last a lifetime. Our courteous and professional staff is available with any additional assistance you may require, ensuring that your experience is effortless and stress-free. Our spacious venue hall can easily host weddings, private parties, corporate events, Quinceañeras, Mitzvahs, family and high-school reunions, school dance and much more! For more intimate events, our lounge and private banquet room can be set up to accommodate birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, business meetings, break-out sessions, and team-building exercises. The list is endless.

Working with Sadaf and the Spring Hall Event Venue staff was absolutely incredible. Sadaf and her team are so thorough in their planning and helped my mother and I make decisions regarding the decor, food, and ambiance for my wedding reception that ultimately made it look like a dream. The venue itself is SO gorgeous without any decor, so it really allows you to do the 'less is more' approach with the decor to keep the look of your event an example in elegance, and keep some more money in your wallet. Every decision leading up to the reception and day of was handled so easily and professionally by the team and the CEO Sadaf herself. The bridal suite was so convenient for myself and my friends to get ready in and it is attached to another room and the bathroom so there was so much space for all of us leading up to guests arriving. The in house speaker system and attendant that you can book through the hall was such a lifesaver as I didn't want a DJ, but more-so someone to make introductions and play pre-approved music according to the vibe - not in a club like way as some DJs provide. I truly had the best and easiest experience working with this venue and my guests and I were so amazed with it's interior design along with the in house decor we utilized through the venue. My mom and I had the easiest time planning thanks to their team and their amazing selection of in house vendors which we utilized for decor, sound system, and catering. Absolutely would recommend this venue for any type of event, and it was the PERFECT venue for my wedding reception.

173 Carlyle House

5.0

Norcross, GA
  • Up to 550 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor

Looking for the perfect place to relax, enjoy, and cherish your special wedding day? The Carlyle House in Historic Downtown Norcross provides the perfect indoor or outdoor wedding venue. Our outdoor terrace can give you the perfect setting for a winter, spring, summer, or fall wedding. This space truly allows us to serve as an outdoor wedding venue in which you can hold your reception, seating, and bar both inside and outside.

I can't say enough good things about the Carlyle House! It was perfect for our 150-person May wedding. They were, without a doubt, my favorite vendor to work with. The year leading up to the wedding, Gerise answered every single email and question I had promptly. You'll find during the wedding planning process that that kind of prompt communication is incredibly rare. They're incredibly experienced, so if you have any sort of off-the-wall idea, they've done a wedding like that before and can send you a layout and ideas around that. Weddings are expensive, and while we still spent more than we hoped originally, it's so great they don't try to price gouge you every step of the way like some places. Day of, we were treated very luxuriously, there were plates made up for the groom and I from the buffet line and cocktail hour by their staff, and our families felt well taken care of as well. We were able to be pretty minimal on the decor, too, as the venue is so beautiful, and there are beautiful photo opportunities everywhere. A lot of chairs, tables, and linens are included which will also save you money. The weather was touch and go day of our wedding, and apparently they kept moving the ceremony back and forth outdoors to indoors back to outdoors unbeknownst to me as the rain kept stopping and starting, which was incredibly nice of them, and we were ultimately able to get married outdoors! The paved terrace is wonderful for outdoor ceremonies since it dries quickly. They also allowed us to come a little early for photos without charge, because the rain was going to ruin our plans for photos at the park. We LOVED the fried chicken, and the shrimp and grits martini station in particular, and the charcuterie and hummus spreads were gorgeous during cocktail hour. Our bartenders followed our instructions perfectly for our signature cocktails and garnished them beautifully. If your friends are degenerates like mine, be sure to ask the bartenders not to allow shots--unlike a lot of other event venues, they'll allow it and it probably put a few of our guests over the edge by the end of the night! The stories were hilarious though so many thanks to the Carlyle House for helping us throw the beautiful ceremony and the raging reception I dreamed of!
