We could not recommend our experience with the Doubletree enough. Our coordinators were fantastic, the food was delicious and we got to know many of the hotel staff by name over the course of our weekend (the front desk, the chef, custodian, etc.). They were also super professional and communicative regarding both our two postponements due to COVID19 and a coordinator staffing change over our time working with the venue. (Both our first and second coordinators were great!) You will be hard-pressed to find a venue of this quality for a better price. Do yourself the favor and book here!

Grand. How else do describe a building whose story is woven into the history of Pittsburgh? A landmark transformed into the most striking special event facility in Western Pennsylvania. Whether it's the Grand Hall's rolling barrel vaults and arches, its massive supporting columns topped with gold-leafed Corinthian capitals, or the intricate, gold-plated stencil-work gracing the ceiling, the Pittsburgh's Grand Hall never fails to inspire awe in those who come through her doors.

Their communication style was poor, often accusatory and defensive when we tried to clarify details with Kelley. However, the value was great - they allowed our pup to be part of the ceremony, which was a special touch. But we had to get any promises from the coordinator, Kelley, in writing, as many things that were "included" in our initial meeting ended up costing extra. Overall, the lack of transparency and professionalism made planning more stressful than needed but overall the day went very well the ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a blast.

Rivercrest farm was hands down the best vendor we booked for our wedding! Not only is the farm absolutely gorgeous (looks straight out of a magazine) but the team at Rivercrest Farm is top notch! Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting how beautiful the barn was. We Highly recommend hiring Alex as a day of coordinator. “Day of” doesn’t describe the work she does! Alex set up meeting & sent emails to my other vendors allowing me to relax! Her communication skills are amazing & she is dedicated to making your day perfect! The barn was decorated by the time my bridal party got to the venue to get ready. I had made faux floral arrangements and Alex went out of her way to add some real flowers from our florist to make my table arrangements look more realistic! Another example of how “on it” she is- we did private vows on their hilltop at sunset, both my fiancé and I realized we had forgotten our vow books back at the barn. Alex already grabbed them and had them in her car! What a relief it was to know she had them. I cannot recommend Alex and Rivercrest Farm enough! I promise it will be the best wedding decision you make!

This is one of the few venues that checks in with vendors to ensure they have everything they need leading up to an event - It really shows how much they are truly invested in the overall outcome of the day. I always know when I see us booked at the farm that we will have a smooth, stress-free day! Thank you Freedom Farms for being so great to work with!
