“Having great food was my husband's number one priority for the wedding. We happen to be vegan and unfortunately if you filter by that here you can see that what many caterer's mean by "we offer vegan food" is "we will make a plate of spaghetti with nothing else for your one vegan guest" and that is the opposite of what we got with Seed Sprout and Spoon.
They went above and beyond with our menu! They sent us their menu and we were able to work with them to alter dishes that fit our needs.
They can do buffet or plated, we went with buffet because we only had a guest list of about 50 people.
For cocktail hour we opted for a pretzel bar with four different dips.
Our main meal was a nice hearty salad with fruit and nuts, a creamy polenta with bolognese made with Beyond meat, an absolutely delicious white (cashew cream) lasagna with kale, roasted asparagus, an eggplant/bell pepper caponata, and an assorted bread basket.
For dessert we had a cake from another vendor but wanted additional dessert for people who aren't into cake and we went with some mini fruit tarts.
Finally we also had our plates/glasses provided by them and they have a beautiful collection of mismatched tableware.
Pretty much everyone went back for seconds and I don't think we had a single guest who we saw/spoke to over the next couple of days who didn't comment on how this was some of the best food they've ever had a wedding period. Not just good for vegan food but all around great!”
