In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Hope Glen Farm was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the very first communication, the team was clear, detailed, and incredibly personable. The coordination meetings leading up to the wedding, along with the helpful client portal, kept us on track and confident that everything would be perfect. On the day of, the staff was amazingly helpful and attentive - Eryka in particular was a true godsend, keeping us organized and responsive to our every need. The Bridal Bliss decor package they offer is a must, as the venue looked absolutely beautiful and pristine. We couldn't be happier that we chose Powder Ridge as a wedding venue! From the first tour of the venue to the last dance on our wedding day their staff was absolutely incredible. Laura at Powder Ridge was a huge help during the planning process and the weekend of the wedding. She was knowledgable, friendly, and punctual on every detail! Powder Ridge made the wedding planning process so easy. They have a lot of built in perks to using them as a vendor. They can host the ceremony and reception all in one place - they cater the meals in-house (with fantastic food!), the bar is also run by them. A lot of venues have you hire the big ticket items in to their space. It made it very easy for us that most of this was taken care of by them! The staff on the day of was so attentive, our guests were raving about how beautiful Powder Ridge was in the summer. Your pictures will be beautiful with how green everything is! Another great perk is that you get to utilize the venue the whole weekend - a lot of venue's nowadays have several weddings on one weekend....Powder Ridge lets you decorate on Friday morning, rehearse Friday evening, and have a blast on your wedding day without the scramble of picking up all the decor on Saturday night. We had the best wedding day - and a huge part of the success of the day was because of Powder Ridge and their staff. We couldn't be more impressed with how smooth and polished our wedding was. Our friends and family are still talking about how perfect the day was. We are so grateful for all Powder Ridge did for us and would highly recommend them as a venue for your big day!

My husband and I were married at The Regency earlier this month, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was seamless. Being able to book both Thursday and Friday gave us the time to decorate, rehearse, and feel completely prepared heading into the big day. We received so many compliments on the food—guests raved about both the flavor and how quickly meals were served. Maddie, our captain, was attentive and reassuring, checking in often to make sure everything was running smoothly. And Emmalee was truly outstanding! She was incredibly flexible, friendly, and helpful in every way. Any time we had a question or request, she immediately had an answer or solution. She made the planning process stress-free and our friends and family adored her just as much as we did. The venue itself was breathtaking—unique, elegant, and the perfect backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. We heard nothing but positive feedback from our guests, many of whom remarked on how beautiful the space was and how much they enjoyed the evening. Thank you, Regency, for making our wedding day so special and memorable. We are beyond grateful and would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding or special event.

Reeds & Rushes is an amazing venue! When we first toured the place, it was still under construction, but we trusted Curtis and Maddy's vision. They truly impressed us with the final result. With the wood details and black and white accents, the venue provides the perfect backdrop for your special day. We were thrilled with the addition of the dock and the pergolas in the back patio. Our outdoor ceremony by the lake was beautiful. The Bridal & Groom suites were terrific, I loved that the Groom suite had a golf simulator – it kept the guys entertained while they waited! The Bridal suite was also gorgeous and spacious enough for 8 girls. Curtis and Maddy were excellent to work with, very responsive, and always helpful whenever we had any questions. I would definitely recommend them!
