The Center for Arts at the Armory is a non-profit organization that resides in a historic Armory building, serving Somerville and the Greater Boston community through arts, cultural and community events, exhibitions, markets, classes and more. Sheraton Commander Hotel is an award-winning hotel wedding venue located in the heart of Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This Victorian treasure was built in the late 1880s, and originally served as the county courthouse. It’s been lovingly restored, and boasts a two-story theater space with an exquisitely embellished ceiling and wraparound mezzanine balcony. In the warmer months, ceremonies may be held in Centanni Courtyard. This airy outdoor space continues the historic feel of the Arts Center with lawns, a large arbor, and brick pathways. Your rental fee helps support the Center’s mission: to educate the community about diversity through the presentation of multicultural arts programs, and to make the center available to artists and groups who may not otherwise have access to a professionally equipped space.

Every detail from the menu to the design is thoughtfully planned with our Director of Events, Robyn Yee. With over 15 years in the event industry she will personally oversee the planning process to ensure your wedding day is memorable. The Catalyst team strives to make every event not only special but safe as well. The restaurant is in a lab building equipped with industrial Air Handler and Exhaust Air Handler Units. Our building is fed 100% outside air through a multifilter system which include MERV 8 prefilters and MERV 15 final filters at the rooftop units. When the air hits each floor, it is filtered again through a MERV 13 filter at the floor distribution boxes. Our top priority is to ensure your safety and the safety of your guests while dining at Catalyst.
