I moved to downtown Minneapolis from Iowa to attend college. My husband and I met my husband at a cafe concert where we both never thought we’d see each other again. A few days later, he walked into my college class and the joy on my face was indescribable. The rest is history! I met a local photographer who took me under their wing where I learned the beauty of photography. This is where I fell in love with people, specifically the connection between two who are madly in love. I am passionate about documenting love in its rawest form for who the couple really is and for how their day naturally unfolds. It’s ALWAYS about the couple.

Like some it started with a little camera originally to capture our children as they went on field trips, vacations, and other documentations of life. I quickly began venturing into photographing other families and children. A very good friend of mine invited me to shoot her wedding. After our daughter, Walker Ann, passed away unexpectedly, I felt God tugging at my heart.
