“Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Hildegard and the SkyView staff! We planned our wedding less than a year out, and Hildegard was very accommodating and very responsive throughout the planning process - she was truly a pleasure to work with. On wedding day, we also had Jenn and Iwan helping out to make sure the day ran smoothly. We did our ceremony off-site so we cannot speak on that, but our cocktail hour and reception were absolutely awesome! We still have guests raving about how good the food was and how beautiful the venue and grounds are. You definitely get the best value for your money in terms of northern NJ wedding venues, and we couldn't recommend SkyView enough!”

“From the moment we started working with their team, the communication was easy and they were incredibly organized in helping us plan our rehearsal dinner and post-wedding brunch. The food at both events was absolutely delicious - our guests were shocked at how great it tasted! The historic space was beautiful and provided a wonderful backdrop for our celebrations, especially with the bridal suite being the Norman Rockwell Suite. The Nassau Inn was a great value and really helped make this busy weekend run smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and highly recommend them to any couple getting married in Princeton.”

“My wife and I got married in Princeton in August, and we hosted a dinner / welcome party at Ficus on a Friday evening. We cannot recommend it highly enough for an event! Every course of dinner was phenomenal, and it felt like we were getting 5-star quality food at a very reasonable price. The smoked salmon canapes, ratatouille, seabass, potato croquettes, desserts - all superb (and that's not even half of the things we ate!). The h'ors d'oeuvres were also delicious, and the service was extremely friendly - Quinta and the team were great to work with prior to the event as well. The space itself was perfect, with a good amount of room on the outdoor patio and plenty of space inside. (We had 80 people at the event). Perfect for folks who might be a little more COVID-cautious and prefer to eat outside. If you want to host an event in Princeton, Ficus is a great spot.”

“Choosing Chauncey Hotel as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process. The venue is a hidden gem located in Princeton, NJ. It is nestled behind main roads, not far from the downtown but feels very secluded when onsite. We have many out of town relatives so being able to stay at the hotel and have everything onsite was very convenient and comfortable. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast in the morning which was a nice perk and convenient spot for everyone to gather. There is also a bar in the lobby which was the perfect space for reconnecting the night before our wedding and for our after party. The Laurie House is a charming historic home that offers a hotel-style stay. It was the perfect space for us and our bridal party to get ready, with a large space for hair/makeup, "getting ready" photos, and a boardroom for signing our marriage license after the ceremony. The surrounding property is beautiful and offered many areas for photos surrounded by trees and other natural scenery. The staff at Chauncey was kind, courteous, and attentive to our needs all weekend. Becki in particular went above and beyond as a wedding coordinator. She made herself available to meet in person and virtually before our wedding. Every interaction with Becki made us feel more ready and prepared for our big day! In the days leading up to the wedding, we were able to drop off decor for her ahead of time and she also led our rehearsal! Becki took the time to check in with us the day-of and looked after our family and bridal party to make sure they had everything they needed. Making sure we had our cues before walking down the aisle was so helpful. Our day would not have gone as smoothly as it did without her!”

Unionville Vineyards
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Ringoes, NJ
  • Up to 175 guests
  • Starts at $3,000

Unionville Vineyards is the breathtakingly beautiful and memorable setting for your special day. Nestled in the pastoral hillsides of Hunterdon County, our 88 acre preserved farm property lies ready to be the place where your marriage begins.

Venue considerations

  • Couple must handle cleanup and setup
  • Does not allow pets
  • No built-in audiovisual options
“We booked Unionville for a small ceremony and reception on a Saturday in the summer of 2025. Wedding planning is stressful, but Unionville made it so easy to get things done. To start off with, John was extremely responsive anytime we reached out, and he never rushed us with any decisions required from us. Every time we stopped by with questions, we got thorough answers and left feeling relieved and excited for the upcoming event. Anything we needed John was willing to get it for us or provide us a better option after explaining to us why some things have worked/have not worked in the past. That's the other thing - this place has a *lot* of experience with weddings. We went with a lot of their recommended vendors, and we were so happy with all of them. I know we were unsure about booking a wedding venue that doesn't have everything (venue, hotel, catering, etc.) - but it was so easy to get all our vendors after getting the Unionville venue. The leg up this venue has compared to others is definitely the fact that it is a vineyard. For my family, wine is a very important aspect of our culture. Being able to pick the wines we served, knowing it was made right where we were celebrating, and now having that wine in my home to open on anniversaries is such a beautiful thing! The day of went so smoothly - the chairs, the arch, the movement of items big and small from one location to the other, the flexibility when things took longer or shorter than expected. And Donna the day-of liaison was so sweet and helpful! The venue felt so intimate because of all the different parts of the vineyard we had access to - inside, outside, Farmhouse, Fire Pit. The price is definitely worth it - we are so happy with this choice, and all our guests were amazed at how beautiful it was!”

“Jasna Polana was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding day. From their easy and quick communication, to the stunning and graceful mansion, we could not have asked for a better venue. Kelsey was creative in how she maneuvered the furniture to create the perfect flow for our cocktail hour, and even pulled us aside during cocktail hour to make sure we took a moment to enjoy a plate of delicious food - a thoughtful (and incredibly helpful) gesture that we really appreciated. In particular, Kelsey was a joy to work with, helping to talk down this anxious bride and providing creative solutions throughout the planning process. “We got married at Neshanic Valley Golf Course in October 2025. It was the most gorgeous day and Julia helped everything come together perfectly, leading up to and including the day of. From the outdoor ceremony, to the patio cocktail hour and incredible reception (and after party!) everything was perfect. We were able to bring in the vendors of our choice and everyone worked so well together - with Julia being able to provide her best guidance. She worked well with our wedding planner and helped us make great decisions knowing her experience with the flow of how the day goes and considerations from the venue perspective! We had 137 people, brought in a stage and the reception space was the perfect size. After seeing the stage, I was slightly nervous but made the floor feel full and the goal was dancing all night long. We also had so many compliments on the food - especially at cocktail hour - and never ran into any issues with a drink line forming. The band sounded incredible in the space and everything was truly perfect. I highly recommend having your wedding at Neshanic!!”

“There aren't enough words to describe what a perfect day Anah and her team created for our wedding. It was more perfect than we ever could have conceived of ourselves. We booked during a transition period for Anah and her business, so sometimes there were some lapses in communication and some crossed wires, but when it came to the wedding weekend, everything was absolutely perfect. (Maybe I'm overusing that word, but it doesn't feel possible). Anah is so warm, funny, personable, and made us feel like we were the most important couple in the world on our wedding day - and also extremely safe and welcome as a queer couple. Every detail was thoughtful and lovely. We used what she grows for our flowers, and she put together a bouquet for me on the morning of the wedding that matched perfectly with accessories she hadn't even seen yet. It's possible she's a little bit psychic. Thank you, thank you, thank you Anah and team for our perfect day. I wish we could do it all over again!”

While we had to handle a lot of the setup ourselves, their day-of coordinator was a huge help, even providing a golf cart to shuttle us around the sprawling property. Everything is outsourced at Bowman's, but the coordinator did a pretty good job ensuring our special day ran smoothly. The bathrooms did flood and we are still looking for some of our things as our things were piled up all over. “My husband and I celebrated our wedding in early August 2024 at Jericho National Golf Club. I do not even know how to put into words how happy we were to have our wedding at Jericho. We worked with Christine throughout our entire wedding planning process. She is the absolute BEST! She went above and beyond to accommodate everything we needed to make our wedding day special. She was extremely flexible when it came to our timeline (the groomsmen arriving earlier than the ceremony, extending our cocktail hour, having my husband’s favorite beer on tap,etc.). She was also always available when I needed to discuss various wedding planning items with her and she was very quick to help us with anything we had questions on. Also, a shout out to Janet who was also amazing on our wedding day and always came over to make sure we were eating, drinking and enjoying ourselves. We also received many compliments about our bartenders who were extremely friendly. The amount of compliments I have received on how beautiful our venue was and how amazing the food tasted is a TON! I am beyond happy with our experience at Jericho and I would recommend to any of my friends & family to have their wedding here. Thank you to Christine and the team at Jericho! I wish I could relive this special day over and over again.”

“I truly don’t know how anyone gets married anywhere other than HollyHedge. From the Inn, to the scenery, to the staff, it can’t be beat. All our guests couldn’t stop saying how amazing it was to stay on property. And having the after party there was the icing on top of the cake! The top two compliments we got on our wedding were: 1) “that was the best wedding food I’ve ever had” and 2) “this is a beautiful setting”. As the bride and groom, Gabbi, Michele, and Michael are lifesavers. They make wedding planning easy and straightforward, and the actually wedding day is a breeze because everything is handled before you ever knew there was even an issue. All the staff are absolute professionals keeping everything running smoothly rain or shine. Nothing but high, high praise for all of HollyHedge - it doesn’t get any better!”

“Our wedding at Park Chateau was nothing short of magical in December! We had our ceremony on-site in the chapel and it was absolutely breathtaking. It was intimate, elegant, and the perfect setting to exchange our vows. The reception was stunning to say the least. The staff ensured every detail was flawless, from the setup to service creating an unforgettable experience. Our guests were blown away by the attention to detail. The food was outstanding and cooked to perfection, even our to-go items! The cocktail hour was beyond anything we could have imagined, with an endless variety. From our very first appointment with Dom, we knew we were in the best of hands! Throughout the entire planning process, the entire team was an absolute pleasure to work with. Devin worked with us closely helping us select our menu and coordinating every detail. The entire team was attentive, organized, and truly went above and beyond to make our vision a reality. On the wedding day, Oscar, Dawn Alix, Jeremiah, and Alanna we’re by our side ensuring we had everything we needed. They even had hand warmers/jacket to keep us warm during our photos outside! They handled everything seamlessly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy every moment. A huge thank you to the entire Park Chateau team for making our day PERFECT! Getting married at Park Chateau was truly a dream come true, and we cannot recommend this venue enough!”

“My family recently hosted my 35-person baby shower at the Stone Terrace in the Russo Room! Working with the events team was a pleasure from start to finish and the Sunday afternoon event went off without a hitch! The waitstaff was fabulous and very helpful with set up and clean up. Food was, of course, 10/10 and beautifully presented. The space was clean and bright — linens, glassware, and cutlery were spotless. Very reasonably priced when considering with other local venues! It was an absolutely beautiful event. Would 100% recommend and consider hosting another event here in the future. I’ve also attended weddings and large events here in the past and the events team goes above and beyond, always. The food never disappoints and the staff are always friendly.”

“Bridgewater Manor was an incredible venue for our wedding. Alyssa was amazing - she was very prompt in returning our emails and phone calls, and was incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, Alyssa was extremely attentive and made sure I was ready for the ceremony, even helping to put my husband's boutonniere on correctly. I was very nervous right before walking down the aisle, but Alyssa was there to calm my nerves. Adele was also fantastic all night long - he made sure we had food and drinks during cocktail hour and was available to assist us with anything we needed. I never had to hesitate to ask Adele for help. The entire Bridgewater Manor team contributed to making our wedding day so special and stress-free. We are so grateful for their incredible service and attention to detail.”
