The home has lived many lives and in summer 2024, we reopened it as a boutique B&B. The Barn is 5,000 sqft of event space with the lower barn fully renovated and staged for your next event. The upper lofted barn will see further modernization in Spring 2024 and is the perfect reception and indoor ceremony space. Behind the barn is two acres of sprawling lawn including raised bed gardens and mountain views. We're so excited to share Silas with couples in 2025 and beyond!

Creativity has played a role in my life ever since I was a little girl. I grew up in upstate NY loving the outdoors and being close to the mountains! Although I loved where I grew up, when I graduated high school I decided to move South to Georgia to pursue a degree. While studying Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design, I fell in love with photography. I received my B.F.A in photography and then moved back home to NY where I became busy photographing weddings.

In 2017 Valerie branched out on her own to continue working with clients, focusing on corporate events and marketing. In 2020, she shifted her business to Weddings . She now lives in Albany with her husband and 3 children.

Our stately barn sits at the top of a hill overlooking the Vloman Kill.
