Tropic Of Flowers

5.0

San Gabriel, CA

At Tropic of Flowers we understand the magical power that flowers, paper and decor have to transform an environment or create an experience. When we bring flora together in an arrangement or bouquet we look to combine the essence of each flower, augmenting its individual magnificence. It is this same magic that inspires and infuses our event designs. We collaborate with our clients to create a seamless look for your event from the color palette to the stationery and paper design to finding the perfect decor and flora.

Marisa was very easy to work with and took my vague pictures and ideas and put together an excellent color board/story board for the flowers. She even recommend a boutonniere which was lovely. The bouquet was lovely and a great punch of color for a winter wedding. So glad I reached out to her!

Jonathan was SO easy to work with, and just gets it! We had an initial call where we began to chat about my overall vision and I sent over a color palette and some ideas to get things started. A few months later we had an in person meeting. I brought a few of my reception decor pieces over to make sure things were blending well with the florals Jonathan had in mind. His vision was SPOT on with mine. Like it was so easy for him to understand me and create floral art. My actual wedding florals were absolutely beautiful! Jonathan also provided candles etc to add to the vibes. Just magical!! I recommend 100x over! Also, very fair pricing for the quality of work and attention to detail provided. Very grateful.

I am so grateful to have found Michelle! Her work is creative and unique. I was in a crunch planning my wedding in just a few months. Michelle came to the rescue. She took the time to set up calls and guide me through the process. I was looking for vibrant colors to tie together our traditional Indian wedding and our blended reception. The pieces she designed were just that, vibrant and stunning. We received so many compliments from guests on the archway decor, sweetheart table, and bouquet. Not to mention the wearables!! I just loved the floral hair and hand pieces :) I can't thank you enough for taking the time to get to know us and design such romantic decor!

Suzanne and Erin were amazing - they worked with us and our budget and didn’t bat an eye when we asked to add a few more arrangements just a few days before the wedding. They were super responsive and I think one thing that definitely set them apart from the other vendors that I spoke to was that they actually showed me photos of the exact types of flowers that they were going to use based on my inspiration photos which was really nice to really visually see them. I really wanted simple flowers, and was worried that it wouldn’t be enough, but they honestly knocked it out of the park I love that they used local flower suppliers that was really important to me. They were on time to set everything up the day of the wedding and stayed after for repurposing, which they did so quickly and seamlessly my guests didn’t even notice. It was truly an amazing experience working with them, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a florist in the area. I also love that they are mother-daughter team which hits home for me, because I to share a business with my mother!

Emily did the most amazing job on my flowers. Hiring someone to do my flowers was difficult and emotional for me. I had a very unique vision that I had ZERO example pictures of and my grandmother was a florist my whole life and the art of it is very near and dear to my heart. I was only able to give similar inspo picsand description of what I wanted and was so scared that what I wanted would not be created. I was literally blown away at how accurate and gorgeous Emily was able to bring my vision to life. I have never seen flowers like mine, they were the perfect blend of Goth and elegant without looking to dark. I wanted a blend of pyrite with no white and only pops of lavender and greenery and she Absolutely killed it! I can not thank her enough

    Gardena, CA

Girl & the Flower started out of a love for gardening and flowers! I first discovered my love for floral design when I created the floral centerpieces for my sister-in-law’s wedding and it grew ever since. I always found myself making arrangements for various events for my friends and family – and eventually, I decided that it was time to take on a new adventure and that's when Girl & the Flower bloomed into a business

    Awarded Best of Zola
Flower and the Girl made my vision come to life. I had a picture in my mind of what I envisioned my bouquet to look like and the team went above and beyond. My floral arrangements were breath taking. I was bursting in joyful tears when I initially got to see the vibrant floral arrangements for the first time. Tifanie is professional, compassionate, and easy to work with. She wants to create magic for the people she partners with and she certainly did for our wedding. Flower and the Girl provided an amazing experience for us. The flowers photographed beautifully as well! Thank you so much!!! We highly recommend them for any event.

Wedding planning can be stressful, but Bouquet and Bloom provides beauty and comfort on your big day! The owner, Carissa, listens to what you want, looks at ideas you send and sends some of her own to understand exactly what you are wanting. The product is ready before the big day so their is less worry. Artificial flowers makes the delivery, care, and after wedding day storage super easy. I was worried about an artificial bouquet at first but I quickly realized the benefits of it! The bouquet was beautiful and everything I had hoped it would be!

      Kreativehands

      5.0

      Woodland Hills, CA
      • Starts at $4,000

I started Kreative Hands in 2001 from my home-based studio in Woodland Hills, California, with a passion to “kreate” and make a difference in people’s lives. As a busy mother raising twins with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Design Certification from Southern California School of Floral Design, I've learned over the years to reuse, re imagine and create floral arrangements into one of a kind masterpieces. My passion for nature and garden designs made our arrangements so unique and natural! My eye is always for unique flowers! Our home studio makes a beautiful welcome to our clients and the relationship is instant!

      Awarded Best of Zola
I can't recommend Srini and Kreative Hands highly enough. Look, wedding flowers are expensive. Kreative Hands isn't exactly a budget floral option, but I found that their cost was competitive and they went above and beyond. If flowers are important to you and you can spend the money, ABSOLUTELY go with Kreative Hands. Srini is just a super kind human being who is obviously extremely passionate about what she does, and she's great to work with. From our very first call she was so interested in really understanding our vision and style, and she was really excited to do something a little bit unique and make our dreams come true. On the day of our wedding I was mostly sequestered to the bridal suite while everything got set up, but my day-of-coordinator and nearly every member of our bridal party commented on how awesome and super sweet Srini was and how amazing the flowers looked. She brought flowers for my hair and for our cake, and my hair stylist and our cake decorator couldn't say enough about how beautiful and perfect they were. The week of the wedding I had asked if she could bring four single roses to give our parents as part of the ceremony and instead of just bringing four roses she added some beautiful little greenery and smaller flowers and wrapped them in twine and brought bottles to sit them in by the arch. Just small examples of how she goes above and beyond and just nails it. If you're debating between a few florists, go with Kreative Hands. I know it sounds impossible but it really feels like they care about your wedding as much as you do.
