“I found Unabridged Photography while looking for documentary/photojournalistic style photographers for our Chicago wedding. As soon as we talked to Ashley, we looked no further. Throughout the entire process they were collaborative and communicative. Our engagement shoot felt like meeting up with a friend. We were able to blend more editorial portraits with a candid depiction of our day. Ashley never makes you feel like any shot or maneuver is hard even as they are running behind you with four cameras strapped to their body- and you appreciate having every format. The result of that effort was an array of photos, both glamorous and understated, like nothing I've never seen, and something I could have pulled from my parents' wedding album. Not only an incredibly talented photographer, Ashley had great suggestions for shooting locations and is knowledgeable of what the city has to offer (and even suggested the bar where we hosted our Welcome Drinks!!). We opted out of having video at our wedding for several reasons, so the stakes for the photography were pretty high. Ashley's images made our wedding with nearly 200 guests feel intimate and look like a rager. The impeccable creativity Andrew brought to our more traditional accents -- the bridal bouquet and boutonniere, reception harlow stands -- were equally as elevated and aesthetically eye-dropping the energetic accents and more customized requests -- our flower-adorned chuppah, the ceremony wagon for the flower girl, and the floral chandelier. Andrew's energy is infectious and his preparation and seamless operation always gave us one less thing to worry about during the planning process. “The Photo Booth was very affordable and very responsive on when needing to book it. During the day of the ceremony, the Photo Booth attendant (Leslie) was very professional and very caring of all the guests. He was there to assist the guests from start to finish without leaving the spot. Very impressed. As the reception was rapping up, the bride and groom (us) really didn't have time to join the Photo Booth due to being so busy with other stuff. Leslie waited till the end to make sure we at least had some pictures ourselves of with other guests. The prints are really high quality and were worth every penny. The fact that we are able to get all the photos also digitally was a big bonus! Great service and highly recommend!”

JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. He even helped us surprise our guests with a singing introduction of the bride and groom. He took time to get to know us and was always happy to answer any questions we had. This was not a cookie cutter wedding band performance. This is a group of truly talented professional musicians putting on a real show. Our guests and even our vendors are still telling us today, months later, that this was the best wedding band that they’ve ever seen.
