Homer, MI

  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $3,000

We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly, we began adding amenities to the property. In 2020 one of our daughters got engaged. As she began looking for a venue to host her wedding we came to realize that the perfect spot was right in front of us. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work to create a beautiful wedding venue. There are many opportunities on the property for one of a kind pictures. There are three picturesque options in front of the lake for the service and a new reception building that can seat up to 200 guests. With a 5 acre campus larger weddings can be accommodated with tent rental. We offer DJ service, PA rental, bar service, and exceptional vendors for catering and coordination services.

“We had an impeccably amazing experience with the Clark’s and their venue for our daughter’s wedding. From the first time we met them, Todd and Tammy were gracious, accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with. They are an amazing Christian couple who shares their beautiful property selflessly with others. They ensured we had everything we needed and that all of our questions were answered. They were reliable, kind and helpful every step of the way up until we left the premises after everything was over. The venue is so peaceful and beautiful, a perfect place to experience the joy, hope and love that weddings are all about. Highly recommend The Clark’s Lakeside!!! You will NOT be disappointed!!!”

“Chassey and the Dock’s Beach House team made wedding planning straightforward, stress-free, and truly enjoyable. Their billing and fees were transparent, reasonable, and flexible—no surprises, just great service. The venue offered beautiful views of Lake Erie and plenty of activities to keep guests of all ages entertained throughout the weekend. The Dock’s staff handled setup, teardown, and cleanup seamlessly, allowing us to focus on celebrating with our loved ones. Our best advice? Rent the entire motel if you can, and have any overflow guests stay just across the street. If we could give this more than five stars, we absolutely would!”
