That something was ice cream! A few short months later, Dolce Darling burst on the scene! Our mission is to help you build memories by bringing something fun and unique to events that are special to you.

“Annette from Dolce Darling is very sweet, kind, and great to work with! We hired Dolce Darling for our wedding dessert because we aren’t big fans of cake, and her gelato cart was the perfect choice. We chose three flavors (vanilla, peach cobbler amaretto, and mango sorbet), and our guests were so happy. Many got second servings! In addition to the gelato, Annette brought espresso to make affogatos (which was amazing and delicious) and assorted toppings/sauces. She even offered to bring other toppings if we had any specific requests. We also loved that Dolce Darling had an add-on coffee bar since many of our guests enjoy night time coffee. She’s self-sufficient, so she brings her own cart set-up for gelato/sorbet and tables for the toppings/coffee. Annette provided AMAZING service, and we’re incredibly grateful to have had her on our wedding day.”

E is short for Erin who has loved to bake since her grandma first tied her apron strings when she was little! Her husband Allen is often busy behind the scenes, building display pieces, keeping track of inventory, taste testing (quality control!), and delivering the goods.

“Wow. Just WOW. Erin is an artist in the kitchen and a sweetheart in real life. I explained how our wedding was in an outdoor, gardeny setting and she took the theme and not just ran, but SPRINTED with it (teeny cupcakes served out of teacups?? Like, cmon now). Erin created the most gorgeous desserts I have ever seen in my life that were so exceptionally tasty as well. She is so fast to respond, so receptive and so amazingly talented. She is punctual and so reliable. Erin took inspiration from a picture of a bouquet I also sent my florist and made it come to life on our cupcakes. From afar, I thought she found real florals to decorate the desserts with or something. Only up close could you tell it was her carefully and gorgeously crafted work. Her broad menu and offer to take requests made it so easy to build a well rounded menu that my husband and I, and our guests will remember for a very long time. We wound up having cupcakes, mini donuts, various cheesecakes, crumb cake and a small cutting cake. I couldn’t choose a favorite and had leftovers to enjoy for nearly a whole week following our wedding. We love you, Erin!!! Thank you for being such a big part of our wedding day.”

“We chose Brandy for our New Orleans wedding when I saw her photos of two small individual cakes on candle holders. We contacted her and she set up a private tasting of her available flavors and we worked on designs for our individual cakes. We then completely tailored how we wanted our cakes and the cupcakes for our guests. Brandy showed up exactly on time for our wedding, and had everything laid out so beautifully, even for a wedding of 100+ guests she wasn't fazed. We (and our guests) were beyond impressed, blown away really, by how amazing her sugar flowers looked on our cakes and the special designs she put together. It truly was perfect and everyone raved about the flavors. The best part is, we still have our sugar flowers as a keepsake and can keep them forever! I also like that Brandy uses unique flavor combinations and thinks outside the box with the ingredients she uses. She provided a so very special and beautiful addition to our wedding and we couldn't recommend her more.”
