“Starved Rock Lodge & Conference Center has a truly beautiful venue with friendly staff who genuinely care about making your day special. Our biggest challenge was the assigned wedding coordinator—we experienced significant miscommunication that added stress during the planning process. However, the rest of the team really stepped up for us and went out of their way to help on our wedding day. The natural setting and accommodations at the lodge are gorgeous, and we loved hosting our celebration there. If you book with them, I'd suggest being very clear about your expectations upfront and following up often to avoid the same issues we had. Overall, it's a stunning space with a caring team, just make sure you stay on top of communication."”
