Mr. King, also known as Gus, is woven into the history of McKinney. His namesake, The Augustus, pays homage to his one-of-a-kind space along with McKinney's storied past. With its historic location, original wood floors, exposed bricks and crystal chandeliers, Gather is an elegant, timeless venue that hosts up to 150 guest providing a celebration that is sure to be memorable. We are an excellent location for hosting bridal or baby showers, birthday parties or quinceaneras, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and much more.

The hotel went through a renovation at the end of 2017 to a more contemporary look with neutral tones. We also have our Courtyard as a rentable space for an outdoor ceremony or cocktail reception. We offer an array of menu selections prepared by our in house culinary team. For ethnic weddings, we do allow outside catering from a licensed caterer. Our boardroom makes an excellent option for a bridal party getting ready room along with house made Mimosas and culinary selections.
