Working with Igor at SOUL Ballroom Dance Studio was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He took time to understand our style as a couple and choreographed a routine that felt authentic and comfortable for us to perform. Igor is patient and genuinely invested in helping his students succeed, which made every lesson enjoyable and stress-free. We went from nervous about dancing in front of everyone to actually looking forward to our first dance on the big day. The whole experience was well-organized and a great value for what we received. We'd absolutely recommend SOUL Ballroom to any couple looking to nail their wedding dance.

The team at Glass House was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication was timely and they were highly accountable, ensuring a smooth planning process. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with an aesthetic that perfectly fit our vision. They were also flexible in the required minimum charges, layout and flow of our smaller guest count. The transition between rooms went seamlessly, and the bar service was well-organized. While the staff may have been a bit too casual, and it was unclear who our dedicated day-of contact and security were, overall Glass House provided excellent value and contributed greatly to making our special day a huge success.

After touring multiple venues in Minneapolis, the Lumber Exchange was the perfect choice for us. Without knowing exactly what our "dream wedding" would look like, the team at the Lumber Exchange guided us through planning in a way that organically created the PERFECT day and night for our wedding. The venue's new chef, Ali, was so incredible and worked with us to make a few changes to an already-DELICIOUS menu (we asked for a lighter sauce to go with the salmon) and the guests said all night that it was some of the best wedding food they've ever had! The parking ramp attached to the venue was great for guests to easily access an otherwise-intimidating downtown excursion! The bridal and groom's suites were both beautifully maintained and secure for the day and evening making it so comfortable to get ready and celebrate! Also, between the parking ramp rooftop, the stunning staircase and light shining in from downtown through the massive windows in the Dylan Room, the venue provided so many amazing photo opportunities. We were so at ease for the entire process, and we would recommend this space to anyone looking for a classy venue that is SO well-run, all of the typical stressors one might encounter in planning a wedding are completely taken care of. A special thanks to Hannah Fox who was our assigned (included in the cost of the rental) coordinator and Shannon who was the manager of the building for both our rehearsal and the entire wedding day. They were a dream team one can only........dream of! Attention to detail, charming personalities and complete support of all ideas we had!

When we first toured Nicollet Island Pavillion we met Morgan. She was incredibly helpful starting from the initial planning stages, selecting a date, and arranging a special tasting to accommodate the bride's dairy and gluten allergies. Mintahoe was so on top of it that they even had multiple gluten and dairy free wedding cakes for the bride to taste. This was especially impressive to us because other gluten and dairy free bakeries wouldn't even accommodate cake tastings. (The cakes were all delicious. We went with chocolate raspberry/ lemon poppyseed with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream.) Morgan went above and beyond through every step of the planning process, and she and the Mintahoe staff thought of everything. At our final planning meeting we met Nikita. She had the venue set up and then we went through every step of the day according to the timeline. On the big day, Nikita coordinated with our DJ, Pastor, and Photographers and things could not have gone better! A few things that really stood out to us were: - After the ceremony, the venue had our favorite drinks and small appetizer plates ready for us in the back room. - The late night snacks (nacho bar and wings) were also allergen free. - They put up all of our signage and place cards (which saves a lot of stress). Overall, the day was so perfect because of Morgan, Nikita, and Mintahoe's professionalism and planning. As the bride and groom, we were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding day!

Good venue! We didn't go with any of their preferred vendors, but were able to get approval fairly easily (but just be aware there are extra steps to get approval if you choose your own vendors). It was really nice to have all food and drinks handled by the venue, and very nice to stay in one location all day --from getting ready in the morning to the end of the night. We also received day-of-coordinator services with our package, the value of which cannot be stressed enough. Leah was extremely helpful and professional. There was also another staff member who joined us right at 8 AM to help set up our breakfast and coffee and check in on us every hour or so. Also -- all the waitstaff and bartenders were SO great. They treated our guests incredibly well. My husband and I were never without a drink or water thanks to the bartenders, who would even walk out from behind the bar to bring us something on the dancefloor. We got a lot of feedback from the guests, even a couple of weeks later, that the food was amazing. It was also super classy to have passed appetizers during cocktail hour. We ended up decorating very minimally because the indoor and outdoor space speak for themselves. I'd recommend to anyone who is looking for a full-service venue! Don't pick this place if you want to source your own food/drink or if you are concerned about your guests/wedding party following the rules (like bringing outside food or drink or vaping/smoking). You will get fined! Overall, the experience was very high-end.
