I started out in project management and then went into transportation. In 2015 I started my first company as a military contractor as a Logistics Broker. Even though that paid the bills I have always had a passion for baking and decorating, and that seemlessly morphed into the love of cooking in general. I would get asked by friends and family to make things, or cater a party, that then become me decorating and/or planning the whole thing. I absolutely loved it but was scared to jump into a totally different line of work. My tribe would constantly tell me that I need to do this for a living because I have a gift!

The Timber Barn is the farm’s newest, year-round venue. It was pretty funny because, when I was in film school, I did not know anything about wedding videos! We have raised two children here and have used our barns and property all these years to raise horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs. We have many years of wonderful memories and stories on our little piece of paradise! ​Our barns were built in 1944 by a previous owner, Walter Kurzweil, who our street is named after and who used the property and barns for a dairy farm.
