Bill Miller’s Castle was the first and last venue we looked at. We just knew it was where we needed to be married. And it was everything we could have dreamed of and more for our wedding! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the character, beauty, history and warmth of the space. It’s truly one-of-a-kind, and our guests are still talking about how magical it felt a month later. The staff was incredible—professional, kind, and attentive to EVERY detail. Lisa Miller made the entire process seamless, and on the day of our wedding, everything flowed perfectly. The castle provided the most stunning backdrop, from the ceremony to the reception, and our photos and video look like something out of a fairytale. The Barns at Wesleyan Hills was an exceptional wedding venue that exceeded our expectations. Their communication throughout the 4-year planning process was always quick, helpful, and informative, which made the entire experience seamless. The quality of their work and overall value was truly remarkable - the venue was beautifully decorated in a dark, romantic style that was well worth the investment. Our day-of coordinator, Sean, was wonderful and so helpful in ensuring we were taken care of on our special day. The only slight downside was that Sean wasn't involved in the full 4-year planning process, so he didn't have the complete picture of our vision. Overall, we highly recommend The Barns at Wesleyan Hills for any couple looking for a rustic, romantic wedding venue with a fantastic team to support them.

Wright’s Mill Farm gave us the wedding day of our dreams — truly, I don’t even have the words for how perfect everything was. From the moment we booked, Bri was an absolute angel. She coordinated every detail with so much care, patience, and flexibility. No matter what I needed or how many times I changed my mind, she was right there making everything feel easy and stress-free. I could feel how much she genuinely cared about our day, and that meant the world. The staff the night of our wedding was beyond amazing. Every single person brought such warmth and energy, and the bartenders were absolutely stellar — they kept the party going, kept every guest happy, and did it all with huge smiles. Our friends and family are still talking about how incredible they were. The food and appetizers were delicious, beautifully presented, and exactly what we hoped for. And the s’mores bar? Such a perfect, cozy, magical touch that made the night feel even more special. Standing there with the people we love, in a place so stunning and cared for by a team that truly goes above and beyond, felt like living inside a dream. I wish I could do it a thousand times over. Wright’s Mill Farm didn’t just give us a venue — they gave us a memory we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives.

We had a beautiful wedding at the greenhouse of the Beardsley Zoo. The GlowWild light festival in the evening simply added to the magic of the event. The coordinators were wonderful in helping us set up and organize everything. If I had one piece of constructive feedback, it would just be that the head coordinator, Lindsay, was sometimes tricky to get in contact with via telephone for things like making our deposit and final payment for the venue.

Some ideas need time and space to materialize. Transforming an old rodeo horse farm into a creative compound for events and projects has proven to be a challenging example. Over time, thoughtful outbuildings and spaces are popping up throughout a fourteen-acre campus of oak forests and wild meadows. One hundred feet of wiggly barn welcomes experiences from intimate projects to large wedding celebrations with loved ones. Now, it’s a steady push towards sustainable, creative projects working in sync with the natural surroundings. Get out in the woods, get a little weird. Try to have a good time. I can't say enough about how special and wonderful this place is. Our experience here was even better than anticipated. The property is beautiful and has plenty of space, and the barn is so unique and lovely. This is not a cookie cutter farm wedding venue, every detail has been carefully considered and taken care of. Adam, the owner, went out of his way to help everything go smoothly and our friends won't stop talking about how amazing it was. It was so special.
