Our Event Hall features dedicated bride and groom suites, a large Main Room and more intimate Birch Room with a bar and fireplace. A large lawn behind the Event Hall is most commonly used for outdoor ceremonies. Built in 1900, the historic barn is a transitional atmosphere between indoors and outdoors. Its original wood and stone structure is peaked by a 30-foot ceiling, and is complemented by a wrap-around deck that provides breathtaking views a gentle breeze. The Shepard Place is a rustic wedding venue located in Casstown, OH. This historic venue was built in 1920 and was run by the Shepard family for 90 years. The place acted as both the family’s trade and residence, and throughout the years, they created a wonderful site rich in memories and traditions.

Once the site of a summer camp, The Brook offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to go beyond planning events, and start creating experiences. This 180 acres includes lush forests, tranquil groves and, you guessed it, a stunning brook winding throughout. We are close enough to the city that there are several hotels just a few miles away, yet far enough into the country to enjoy the privacy of being surrounded by nothing but trees, cornfields, and wildflowers. Our Venue features a beautifully outfitted 1902 modern farmhouse that is home to the bridal suite and grooms room. Most receptions take place in the main barn, a late 1800's historic structure. Attached to the main barn is the "White Room" which features and indoor/outdoor bar with exquisite views.

We offer a fully staffed venue including parking attendants, a day-of venue manager, and other team members to make your day as smooth as possible! When you plan your wedding with us you gain access to our curated inventory to build your centerpieces and other décor at no additional charge! Our team does all of the set-up of tables + chairs including tear down. All we ask is that you gather your personal belongings. Our Vintage Warehouse + Barn Built by The Ohio Farm Bureau to house grain and farm materials in the early 1960's. This historic warehouse is located on 3-acres complete with string lights + French inspired chandeliers.
