I’m Michelle, a Portland, Maine based wedding and couples photographer. I grew up in a small town in Connecticut, spent my college years and 20s in Boston, moved to New York City with my husband and now have found my way back to New England. I worked for eight years in event planning before going full-time with my photography business. I’m grateful for those eight years because they taught me so much that I’ve carried into managing my own small business. Beyond photography, I am an avid reader, love long bike rides, prefer the Monday crosswords, enjoy woodsy day hikes, and am always finding the nearest bookstore when we travel.

I fell in love with photography about 10 years ago, always liked capturing special moments in a tangible frame. Now this is what I do for living and couldn't be happier. I get to give people photos that they will cherish forever and look back at and share with their friends and families. That to me is rewarding and I'm grateful I get to do that everyday. I specialize in candids like weddings, events, corporate, parties, but I also do really well with portraits.

We are documentary style photographers who put a heavy focus on story-telling and capturing integral parts of our couples' love stories. I love to meet new people, try delicious new restaurants, dance whenever there is music playing, and I've been known to dabble in karaoke. In 2014 I took a giant leap out of the comfort of my 9-5 to start my business, leaving the world of copywriting and fashion behind to pursue my long-time love of photography. I specialize in weddings and boudoir. I view those two as the most personal and intimate types of photography and you should have someone who you can trust to be there for you and make the uncomfortable, comfortable!

Jaclyn here; boudoir and wedding photographer in North Wales, Pennsylvania. When the weather is nice typically I am out kayaking, gardening, hiking, or reading a book outside. The chiller weather I am more focused on finding good restaurants and playing board games. I’m a sucker for farm to table places and spots that have good mixed drinks.

My name is Chief and I'm the founder of Chief the Creator. This business came about from my passion for shooting and capturing stunning imagery. I started out with photography but soon found a stronger passion for videography. I love creating cinematic videos and being able to capture all of the most important moments of your big day and turning them into a beautiful, telling love story. While I have gravitated towards videography, my fiance Amanda has fully taken over the photography aspect. Her love for photography and her ability to connect to our clients is unmatched.
