“Working with S&LM was pretty good. They communicated to me closer to the event, and asked me for everything they needed and more. The pictures I have seen so far look great, and the small video I have seen looked good as well. They made sure I got almost all of the specific photos I wanted, and had a take-charge attitude while photographing, and making sure everyone was in the right place and looking great! The DJs were pretty good, but didn't know all the specific songs we mentioned that we wanted played for certain dances/moments. They also didn't announce the first dance until they were hitting the play button, which threw our choreography off until we asked them to restart! Unfortunately, some people missed our dance because they didn't know that it was happening. It still worked out in the end, and all the right songs were played at the right moments. All in all, I would definitely recommend Lights & Sound Media to prospective couples.”

I am a fine art photographer living in the United States. I am currently based in Florida and have a studio in Tampa, FL. I was born in Cuba but moved to Orlando with my large family in '97. I started my photography in 2015 but have been involved with being on both sides of the lens and learning photography since 2011. She and her team did makeup for myself and 14 members of my wedding party, and did everything on schedule and to a very high standard of artistry. All of my bridesmaids choose pretty different makeup looks and Ashanta’s team did it all perfectly. It all started for me at a very young age. In the early 90's when it was all about fashion and the super model, I would OBSESS over the style network and watch runway shows for hours. Fast forward to post high school choices I went to school for esthetics and also got a degree in natural health so that I could offer an additional layer to my makeup knowledge and services. Not soon after I graduated from school I freelanced for the best cosmetic company at that time. Five years after being a brand ambassador for M.A.C I branched off on my own to open a freelance hair and makeup artistry which I eventually moved to Caliornia.
