We loved having our wedding at The Metroplex Expo Center. The venue offers a huge, open space which allowed us flexibility in designing the layout and decor exactly how we envisioned for our special day. Throughout the planning process, the venue coordinator was very responsive via email and phone, answering all of our questions promptly. On the wedding day, the staff worked seamlessly with our other vendors like the caterer, florist, and DJ to ensure everything flowed smoothly. The team was organized and attentive to details. Their expertise and coordination were invaluable in reducing stress so we could truly enjoy our celebration with family and friends.

The timber frame barn was built in 1905. It is 3,300 square feet and can comfortably seats 200 guests, with plenty of room for dinner and dancing. In 2012-2013, it was renovated to restore its original structure. Wagon wheel chandeliers and a unique bar constructed from French wine barrels and the original barn doors were added. The surrounding farmland offers stunning views and sunsets. We have tables, chairs, white china, flatware, ivory or white linen tablecloths and white napkins, burlap runners, mason jars or water glasses, bridal dressing room, and much more. Faraone Brothers Catering offers wonderful food and service. Alcohol is permitted, with use of certified bartenders and licensed security personnel. The barn is a short drive from multiple hotels and B&B's and it has easy access from I-80, I-79, and PA 376. Pittsburgh is less than an hour away.

The Barn at Pineridge was a wonderful venue for our wedding! The owners, Jeremy and Melissa, were incredibly professional, efficient, and kind throughout the entire planning process. Their communication was top-notch, and they were always available to answer our questions, no matter how last-minute. On the day of, Jeremy drove guests around in the golf cart, which was a huge help, and Melissa was available to address any concerns we had. The venue itself is gorgeous, with a beautiful lake and creek nearby. It was a great value for the price, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to create beautiful memories on our special day. We are so grateful to Jeremy and Melissa for allowing us to use their property - we had the best day of our lives!

This was the easiest decision to make when planning our wedding. We originally planned on going through Allegheny County Parks and renting a shelter but we had issues as we wanted to rent Veteran’s Day Weekend and the Parks Department wasn’t open. So my husband found The Stables, and after 10 minutes of touring and talking to Jaclyn, we were sold. The space is gorgeous, very accommodating, and Jaclyn is now one of my favorite people. She made sure everything was perfect, even standing up for me when I was too afraid to ask for specific things with a vendor. She takes care of the event, the coordination day-of, and the people, which is rare. Looking back, I get the wedding-bell blues for the fact that my time at The Stables and with Jaclyn is over, but I will hold other events there in the future, without a doubt! Super close to a lot of shops and amenities, can’t go wrong. The Stables will have a special place in my heart for years to come.

In brief, we cannot recommend Meadow Ridge highly enough--the venue is beautiful and unique, but more than that, working with Seneca and her team is a pure joy! They are organized, thoughtful, responsive, and caring. They make you feel like family from the first time you meet and the investment in the success of your wedding day is incredible. Lastly, I was nervous planning a multicultural event with integration of Indian and American wedding traditions in rural Ohio and all our requests and details pertaining to Indian cultural aspects were beautifully integrated into the wedding day! It is clear that hosting excellent and memorable weddings is a proud commitment for the Meadow Ridge team, not just a job they have. Venue: large, beautiful outdoor venue with a covered pavilion. To quote our friend, "I've been to a lot of barn weddings, yours was not a farm wedding, it was a fairytale." The flowers were stunning, the grass was lush, the pond lined with reeds and tall grassed, the sunset was out of a painting. There is a new patio in the larger pavilion which we used as our dance floor, so our guests danced the night away under the stars. The photography team Suzuran has stunning pictures of Meadow Ridge across several seasons! Communication/Planning: Seamless communication with the team, Seneca was always easy to reach and responsive, answering our infinity questions meticulously and graciously adjusting her plans when we had to change ours. Service: So thoughtful and caring, we and our guests were blown away! For instance, the bartenders kept track of what drinks we had as the bride and the groom and came to find us with refills. One of the servers brought over tissues when my parents and I started crying before walking down the aisle. As we mentioned, the integration of elements of Indian culture was phenomenal--Seneca was receptive from our first conversation and worked hard to make our hopes a reality. Having our wedding at Meadow Ridge was an absolute privilege and the success of the day is fully reflective of the incredible team we got to work with--we are just so grateful!

My husband and I got married here on 10.26.2024 and it was the most perfect day! The Barn at Walnut Drive is such a breathtaking and beautiful venue with the best staff imaginable. Meagan, the venue owner, was so helpful and kind throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was always available when I had questions or just needed recommendations. If you're getting married here and are thinking about hiring Meagan as your day of coordinator (additional cost) do not hesitate. Nothing, and I mean nothing, would have gone as smoothly during our day without having her there! SHE WAS SO AMAZING! I highly recommend everything about this venue and all of the staff! However, the value was great - they allowed our pup to be part of the ceremony, which was a special touch. But we had to get any promises from the coordinator, Kelley, in writing, as many things that were "included" in our initial meeting ended up costing extra. Overall, the lack of transparency and professionalism made planning more stressful than needed but overall the day went very well the ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a blast.

The Harper is nestled in a gorgeous plot of land with a bubbling stream and a beautiful pond. If that doesn’t sound perfect enough, the owner, Natasha Learn has made the interior the perfect event venue. The aesthetic alone is very stunning, while still being simple yet elegant enough to match basically any aesthetic you could ask for. What made my event magical was planning my wedding with Natasha and getting her full-service day-of coordination. She is spectacular. My mother and I normally bicker about everything, yet by working with Natasha, she saw both my mother’s vision and my own come into beautiful fruition. We have no connection to Meadville whatsoever and for most of us, it took at least 2 hours to get to Meadville. I would make people drive 10 hours to go to Meadville for the sake of having a wedding at the Harper. The Harper is a stunning venue, that was accessible to any person- elderly, handicapped, coming with many children, disorganized bride, and even a very grumpy grandma. As a side note, any mothers, fathers, grooms, brides, etc. Save the relationships, and sign up for full-service planning. It is the most valuable thing about Natasha/ The Harper!

My husband I got married at Sun Valley on 10/14/22, and I would highly, highly recommend this venue!! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, the inside was clean and spacious, and all of their staff is wonderful! I felt like everyone I interacted with during the planning process as well as the rehearsal and day of truly cared about making our day perfect. We received many compliments from our friends and family about how beautiful the venue is both inside and outside. I worked with Jennifer throughout the planning process, and she was not only so incredibly sweet and helpful, but she was also super quick at responding to emails and any questions I had whether big or small. Halle and Kendall were both SO sweet and helpful, and the bartender, Bobby (who I believe works for the venue) was absolutely wonderful! I would definitely recommend Sun Valley to any couple looking for a beautiful venue, especially if they want an outdoor ceremony in the fall! I cannot begin to describe how happy we are that we booked Basil Place for our wedding. I planned our Cleveland wedding from out-of-state, and Michelle from the get-go was so flexible in setting up tours for my family and fiancé when we got into town. First, I'll speak about the venue itself: it is absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The whole farm is surrounded by beautiful nature, trees, and ponds, and rolling pastures. We were able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony, get ready in the carriage house, and use the manor house for pictures, hanging out, and pre-wedding snacks. Our reception was in the barn, which is so gorgeous and opens up onto a patio with views of rolling fields and reflecting ponds (which are stocked with bass if you feel like fishing like some of our guests did!) There was so much space for our reception we were able to set up cornhole and spikeball outside the barn which made for such a fun evening. Our guest loved taking pictures all around the property. I cannot say enough good things about how perfect this venue was for our wedding! I also have to mention how absolutely wonderful and above and beyond Michelle and her staff were throughout every step of the wedding process. Michelle truly feels like family to us. She made the process so easy and was so accommodating to all of our requests. She checked on us so many times leading up to and the day of the wedding- we truly felt so taken care of It is so apparent that this is not just a business to her, but truly her passion. Their preferred caterer, A Taste Of Excellence, was hands-down the best experience with a caterer we've ever had. Mikaela was so kind and flexible, and the food was absolutely to die for we were so impressed with them that we had them cater our welcome dinner as well. They do so many weddings at basil place that they are very familiar with set up and where to go, which makes for that much smoother of a day. All the catering staff were so kind and friendly and added to the positive atmosphere. In summary, if we could go back in time, we would choose Basil Place 100 times over!!

The Holiday Inn Weirton-Steubenville Area was a fantastic choice for our wedding venue. From the moment we first reached out, the team, led by Brad, was incredibly quick, professional, and thoughtful in their communication. They were extremely accommodating and made sure the venue was clean and convenient for our special day. Brad worked wonderfully to ensure our wedding guests were taken care of, even while juggling another wedding that weekend. He also had so many helpful recommendations for other vendors that made planning a breeze. The rest of our guests loved that there was a restaurant and bar on-site, allowing them to continue the after-party and get breakfast the next morning. We would highly recommend the Holiday Inn Weirton-Steubenville Area for any couple's wedding celebration.

We had a fantastic time at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. We chose it for its seclusion and natural beauty, and even our local guests were wowed by the “hidden gem” we found. The best of the best: -we did our first look and private vows in the meadow, it gave us a scenic, private backdrop for a special moment. There was a hiker or two, but everyone was very respectful of the moment we were having! -staff is super kind and lovely, everyone I talked to treated us with kindness and excitement -they make it very easy to walk through all the paperwork and materials they need -they recently acquired their own tables and chairs and even helped with the floor plan! Less to rent. -they now have their own alcohol packages and I was thrilled that this was one less thing to juggle as we started planning. We just picked our package and our menu! -they did a great job coordinating with other vendors in terms of the timing of set up and tear down, and from our perspective, everything flowed very smoothly! Things to note if you’re considering: -you have to use one of their recommended caterers. We LOVED Nick at hazelnut catering. He is so nice and a seasoned PBG caterer -you have to rent a tent through Ambasssdor Tent Rentals for most wedding sizes. You’ll also need to rent your linens through there. -they don’t really have a waiting area for guests. We had a handful of guests that showed up generously early. Some snuck into the ceremony area and got in the way until one of the coordinators asked them to wait outside, and two elderly family members were let into the bridal suite by my dad so they had a place to sit until the gates officially unlocked. If the gate is locked, there’s not really anywhere for guests to sit down until they get in unless they walk across the parking lot to the welcome center. I would keep this in mind as you are planning day of logistics. -there are multiple add on packages, and I was skeptical, but they are worth it! The all inclusive package includes set up and tear down assistance, as well as cookie table set up (huge help for a big cookie table crowd). The s’mores and yard games provided an extra activity and was a hit among all ages.
