Gerry has been decorating cakes for more than 30 years and has been involved in every aspect of event planning and catering for more than 20 years. After years working in the corporate world, as Director of Catering, he made the decision to venture out on his own and do what he is truly passionate about! Making every guest happy through food. CHIC is a culmination of my retail, styling, and design background. Truthfully, the idea of this little biz was created while on lockdown during the pandemic, a little unorthodox I know, but I was determined. I identified this gap in the market the summer prior... after struggling to find a pretty dessert cart for an event at my client's new business launch. Viola! CHIC cotton candy was born, serving the cosmopolitan Boston market; giving a traditional childhood treat-- a chic upgrade. Wherever the party is, we want to be there for you! xo
