I got my start many years ago when I was living back home in Chicago, at a cute little bakery, that I still visit to this day! I went back and forth between working in graphic design to cooking and baking. I started working in the bakery at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center as a part-time line cook in 2013 and in 2015 a became their in-house cake designer. In 2019 I decided to leave my position at the hotel and opened Sugar Flower Cake Design. The owner/operator Chris Moore began working for the company in 1987 and later purchased the business in 1996 when the owner moved out of the area. The sound and lighting equipment that we provide at every dance is specially designed for use by mobile disc jockeys. Our entertainers are experienced professionals who take pride in their ability to "read the crowd" and provide the variety and types of music to keep the crowd dancing. We always take requests and we plan our show based upon the music our customers have told us they want to hear.
