Professional Disc Jockey Company

Madcap Milwaukee is a professional disc jockey company. The owner/operator Chris Moore began working for the company in 1987 and later purchased the business in 1996 when the owner moved out of the area. The sound and lighting equipment that we provide at every dance is specially designed for use by mobile disc jockeys. Our entertainers are experienced professionals who take pride in their ability to "read the crowd" and provide the variety and types of music to keep the crowd dancing. We always take requests and we plan our show based upon the music our customers have told us they want to hear.

For weddings, we emcee and coordinate all the traditional dances such as the bridal dance and garter/bouquet toss. We make it easy, log into your personal event planner via this website anytime, day or night, to plan your event. We want you to feel like a guest at your own reception and we understand that no two weddings are alike as everyone has their own vision for a perfect wedding. We will work with you to help create the “once in a lifetime” dream wedding you have always wanted. You have the option of allowing guests to log in via our website and request songs prior to your event.

Yes, we require a deposit to be paid along with a signature on our contract to secure or services for your event. We accept credit card payments through the on-line planner provide to each of our customers via our website.
Yes, dinner music is available as part of our packages or can be added for a nominal fee on an hourly basis. Your DJ/MC will be available during this time to make any necessary announcements. A cordless microphone is also available during dinner that can be used for toasts, speeches, or blessings, etc, etc.

Some vendors will require that you feed them. Madcap Milwaukee does not and we understand if you are not able to provide us with a meal. However, a meal is certainly appreciated as we are often the first to arrive and the last to leave your event.
Yes, we bring with us backup equipment to every event, so that in the unlikely event of a failure your event will not suffer.
We operate on a first come first served basis, many of our customers book us a year or more in advance. We suggest that once you have your reception hall you should next book your DJ. Please use our availability checker located on our home page to see if we are available for your event.
Yes, this is your wedding and you're the boss. We will discuss prior to you special day all the details of what you want done and when. We will MC all of the special wedding events and coordinate with your other vendors to make sure everything runs smoothly.

No, our contract is all inclusive and our rate will be agreed upon in advance. The only optional additional cost would be gratuities for your entertainers should you choose to provide one for a job well done.
