Hignight’s Florist

5.0

East Moline, IL

Hignight’s Florist is locally owned and operated in the Quad Cities by Chad & Corry, a fun and creative couple with a combined background focused on floral design, plant care, architecture, and design. Other focuses include their two cats, Cubs baseball, gardening, extroversion, introversion, and of course, steak tacos and pizza.

I worked with Corry for my September wedding.. not only was she SO accommodating and kind - the final florals were absolutely stunning!! I gave her inspo from my Pinterest and told her to run with it - the end results brought me to tears multiple times. She did everything from centerpieces, bridal bouquets and a floral hanging installation piece! I would 10/10 do it all over again with her!

Jen is incredible and worth every penny! My husband and I weren't very sure about how we wanted our wedding florals to look. We also didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would only last a day. We stumbled upon wood flowers and discovered Wood and Word Blooms! Working with Jen was wonderful and seamless. She helps you every step of the way to figure out what you would like. The DIY class was so much fun, and we were able to build all of our centerpieces, boutonnières, and bouquets. Jen also built my cascade bouquet and beautiful garland for us! Everything came out so beautifully and was perfect for our day. Thank you Jen!

    The Faux Bouquets

    5.0

    Redlands, CA
    • Starts at $175
    • Serves Moline, IL

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

    Awarded Best of Zola
I’m so glad we went with the Faux Bouquets for our wedding florals. Everything was beautiful and nobody believed me when I said they weren’t live flowers. If you are worried about how they will look, DONT be!!! There is a great variety of flowers on their website and I am so happy with how everything turned out. If you are renting flowers, the return process is SO easy!

Alison with Bloom Culture really puts SO much work into making the DIY process as easy as possible! Her YouTube videos and DIY proposal guides are extremely detailed, and it was honestly a blast to put together my own florals for my wedding. I got a group of friends together and we all built the bouquets/boutonnieres/etc two days before the wedding, and it was so much fun! Katie was a breeze to work with! I am not big on real flowers and wanted something that would represent my husband and I. Her prices are comparable to real flowers and are even more lovely! I love that her flower designs mimic real flowers and that foliage was an option. She took the care to make sure I had what I wanted and sent me multiple pictures during the process and of the finished result before we picked them up for the wedding. She accepted my feedback and made changes to the bouquets to match my vision. I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere as keepsakes that remind me of our special day. I would use her services again and again!
